According to Wikepedia the S4 uses the Wolfson WM5102 audio chip for the Exynos Octa core while the Quad core uses the Qualcomm DAC embedded in the Snapdragon chipset.

Those who value high quality music from their S4 should take note as the Wolfson audio chip produced by a specialized audio electronic company is superior to Qualcomm DAC. It's like comparing Intel motherboard graphics to a nVidea graphics card.

Hi bros, wonder anyone know if the s4 LTE by maxis warranty also cover water dmg? I accidently drop the phone in the beach while taking pics of my little ones and now screen is blank even when there is lights in the button. Damn i thought the phone was water resistant....and the water level wasn't even high, maybe as high as my foot a little. Appreciate if anyone can kindly advice me on this..

I just got my I9505 2 weeks ago.

Anyone here experiencing battery drain of 1% every 2 - 3 minutes when using 3g/4g to surf facebook or websites?

I'm currently still running on stock ROM, no root or any nonsense yet. I've brought the phone to Samsung, and they told me it's completely normal; they've also replaced the battery for me saying that this should fix the problem.

I just want to know if any other I9505 users are facing this problem; I can see that in Malaysia, most people are using the I9500 Octa - So I can't have a proper benchmark.

I'm looking at screen on time of 1 - 3 hours max; could this be caused by a defective unit, or could this be caused by a poorly optimized firmware?

I've used a HTC One for a few days, and I do not see the same problems, battery seems to last longer on that device though they're both running on similar chipsets, minus the fact the One is clocked at 1.7Ghz

I think it's best not to jump into conclusions before truly understanding what the query is; and note, there is a difference between a complain and a query. I am merely querying why this is happening, as technology should improve, not remain the same.

i subscribe to celcom 3gb data plan, and from the speed test, the fastest i get is nearly 7Mbps only.. while some my friend on maxis plan can easily get 14+mbps even on 1gb data plan.. wonder why celcom still practising the speed limit with data plan.. you can try read their FUP here: Celcom First Data Fair Usage Policy

while from celcom online, it also stated my speed is at 7200 kbps only



well since 4G sim card change is free, maybe i can go try it.. hope i will get real 4G speed..

you get the info and breaking news faster than 3G user, by a mere speed of light.. google search appear before you press enter.. twitter, facebook and instagram feed come to you before you touch the screen.. but all this didnt change the way you live with your smartphone before.. it still the same facebook you read, same instagram you upload and same tweet you chirping out.. in what way you need more data quota than before?

even for youtube streaming, there is no problem to stream HD content in 3G, so what is the different when you stream in 4G? you like to watch video 2x speed than normal speed?
