Yup was wondering why it took so long for u guys to notice. Lte option missing. No matter which area u r also won't solve the issue. I dunno if the missing option is controlled by sim card, or the phone os is screwed.
Start by borrowing a new maxis sim and swap. See if lte option appears. If still the same, ur os is screwed or they use the wrong network chip in the phone, or u were sold a fake 9505. I recall celcom don't sell 9505 yet, so where u got it?

Well, it was only 3 meter high from the bed to the floor so I have no idea how it could just crack so easily.

You don't see the physical cracks but when you turn the screen on, the side has haywire. And the screen is all with colour and you can't even use it and the touch screen will not work!

3 meters? You were on the top deck of a double decker bed? This means the display panel died....normally the cover glass cracks and the display panel can still work. You're unlucky. But please get a proper casing.

Yes those that protect all 4 corners and the rubber should extend all the way to the front 4 sides. So tat whichever way drop first, can also protect. No need to be thick. Just good enough to absorb the impact like those tpu or silicon types.

that sure is one tall bed and your damage .... just go with the majority here who uses those casing that gives you maximum protection when cases like this happens, but then your phone will be a brick

Why it has to be a brick? Anyone can pls upload photo of their phone inside a hybrid neo? So thin like iPhone now. Yes, that is something I hate admitting...judge for urself. See how thin it is. I dare say it's as thin as with s-view cover applied. The review also talk about drop protection at the end of review.
