QUOTE(E Crew @ Dec 4 2013, 09:00 PM)
Dear azraeil, actually my second choice is continue doing my degree in pure mechanical engineering in my former university. Do you think I'll have bright career prospect as well in future being a mechanical engineer in OnG industry ?  unsure.gif

if your intention is to join the E&P, a "rojak" academic background(mecha+geoscience) will definitely helps you in later years to come.you can easily integrate what you learnt in the past with what you currently working on if you are involved in field development project. if you intended to pursue pure mechanical engineering course, definitely this will opens up more chances for you to join the O&G as mechanical engineering is a very versatile degree. relatively, a geoscience background might lack in versatility if compare to a mecha background.but at the end, who has the highest probability to have the highest earning power?? brows.gif .well, of course it's highly dependent on your personal characteristics and attitude.

PS:many people likes to eat rojak...rojak is the best thumbup.gif
