Hi guys,

I received an interview invitation with PUSPATRI for the course of Plant Inspection and Management (API cert). If shortlisted, I will have to take 6 months course there and also have to resign from my current job as design engineer at an electronic company.

Is it worth to take this certificate? What is the market demand for people with this certificate?

Please advise.

Hi all,

I was offered a position as a Field/Project Engineer at a company that do pipeline field joint coating services.

I am quite attracted to the position because of the opportunity to go offshore, but I am not sure if having a career in this field (field joint coating services) will give me a good career growth in this industry. Can any sifus/anyone in the industry give your advise on this? I am actually very interested in pipeline/subsea engineering and wish to have a career in this field in future.
