As per what I know, entry level prod. tech if working offshore could get take home pay around 4k this including offshore allowance + OT + shift.. But, if your job as maintenance tech, you will get slightly less because not entitle for shift allowance.. As you get more exp, you will become senior tech >> tech. team leader >> supervisor >> some cases might become platform supt / (Offshore Installation Manager) OIM .. this is based on true story since I also working at one of the platform offshore Terengganu..
