This season, I would like to see more chemistry between pivot and AMs. Which means more attacking distribution of the ball from the two pivots. Countless times last season, Mata had the drop and pick the ball literally from their feet and start and attack. I'm not sure whether this is Mou's style but the two central mids should be the focal point of attack, reading the game and finding spaces for AMs to pounce on.

QUOTE(Ichighost @ Aug 13 2013, 01:12 AM) EXCLUSIVE: Chelsea design special scouting app for Abramovich's iPad... Find out why Schurrle, not Falcao, made the cut trying to avoid another "Torres". I mean Torres was a good player, but he was completely wrong for the team, especially at that time. We forced him to change to suit us, now we crave for the old him. |

My first game lineup prediction
---------Cech Iva--Cahill---Terry---Cole ------Lampard-MVG Rami--Oscar--Hazard ---------Lukaku Peer pressure may have played a part on who I chose as striker |

I don't think Mata is a good idea for first gameweek. As of now, I don't think Mata is top 2 players in JM's eyes. He missed half of preseason and didn't feature that much in the remaining fixtures. And he also think of using Mata as right sided player, so maybe not that influential as him playing no10. Plus the injury, its a big risk. This is just my opinion though.
I don't have any attacking Chelsea players simply due to amount of competition. I can see any of the players being Mou's go-to player, even likes of Moses. I'll wait to see a trend and try to get a player before the price inflates too much. |

QUOTE(dynames07 @ Aug 18 2013, 09:35 AM) yep.. their midfield look disjointed and RVP 1st goal went against the game direction. clinical finish i would say because there is still a lot to be done when he received the ball, let alone after his 1st touch (that send the ball upward). Ya man, Cleverley and Valencia not doing anything first half an hour. Then someone played RVP onside and when ball came to him, it was a goal. And somehow they got the 2nd goal within 5 min and it was game over. Laudrup forced to remove Britton which gave MU little more room in midfield.i am so wishing we can get a striker of that caliber as well. even with a half-baked midfield players, you still got big chance to win the game when the person up front is very reliable. |

KDB-Oscar-Hazard
Quality is definitely there, but leadership in attacking mid is needed which was Mata usually provides. Oscar must step up and orchestrate attacks. Counting on him to improve the most this season. Lamps will be the player to start the opening game in the Premier League most number of times. |

Good game. Terrific first half. Mediocre second. MVG should have brought on earlier for either lamps or Rami to gain back possession quicker.
Great first half for Oscar. Hazard and KDB had good games too despite the latter getting 3 long shots of target. Refreshing to see Chelsea as a squad rather just a team like last season. |
