Didn't watch the game though, hope that fact doesn't become associated with the result and Mikel scored!! Delighted for him and the result. |

Next game COC vs Swindon Town. Games coming fast now, this is where we on to our stride for the season. COC also a chance for other players to throw their names in JM's first XI pot. Also chance for strikers to score some goals
EDIT: Mourinho uber long post match interview for Sky Sports. A very good and open FOOTBALLING interview. This post has been edited by Zeuss1220: Sep 23 2013, 10:03 PM |

Steve Holland Pre-match press conference
Glad that he has been at Chelsea since Carlo era. He has been one of the very few things that has been consistent in the squad over the last few years. This post has been edited by Zeuss1220: Sep 24 2013, 08:05 AM |

QUOTE(SlomoX @ Sep 25 2013, 11:56 AM) not that marvelous at defending but i can see that he was trying hard to close down opponent when he was not on the ball and hes willing to drop back to our own half to defend like oscar. This we seldom saw in his 2 seasons with us, where he always linger at the halfway line at the most. If he play like Oscar, alongside Oscar.. power mang |

QUOTE(syazwan @ Sep 28 2013, 10:23 AM) Yes, very nervy. Had we won the games vs Basel and Everton, I would have been more comfortable before tonight's game. This game has the potential to have any scoreline to whichever team, very unpredictable. I would be extremely happy with a low scoring 3pts for Chelsea. Team selection is going to be a headache for JM, not only in attack but also defense. |

Kind of a "safe" lineup dont you think. I was going to comment that the lineup was unlikely until i saw it was confirmed. No willlian, KDB.
I also didn't expect JM to play Luiz and Terry ahead of Cahill. The infamous Lamps-Mikel combo is back, see what can JM do with them differently. Overall, this team selection isn't my cup of tea, but hope they can change my mind with a solid performance. |

i can see what JM trying to do, play the early ball behind defenders. But Totenham are handling our players easily. With this style, we are better of playing 4-3-3, pushing wingers far and wide to attack on the counter. We need to be better on the ball to play 4-2-3-1. In fact, Spurs looked better on the counter than us. As the half progress, we did get better, but not good enough, not enough cohesion. Expecting to see a better performance on the 2nd half.

first half spurs, 2nd half chelsea. So a draw is fair. Point gained and two points dropped for rivals. Not too bad. Conceding the first goal maybe a blessing in disguise, led to the introduction of Mata. When he plays, everyone plays, a true characteristic of an attacking midfielder. Oscar is my favourite player and I happily can say that Mata is a more intelligent player than him. Mata's positional sense in attack is superb. Without him, the gap between attack and midfield is evident.
Now we just need to start games as well as we start the 2nd half. The team has to go out on the pitch positively but also disciplined. There's much more to come from Chelsea this season. |

QUOTE(BeeDeePee @ Sep 28 2013, 10:21 PM) Mourinho says @juanmata10 will start v Steaua on Tuesday having earned it with his last two performances. #CFC Yes, simple as that. Happy to see that Mou acknowledges Mata's hardwork and performance. Also let this be an example to other players, and eventually we can get closer to an ideal situation where the best performing players gets to play, hence everyone tries to be at their best. |

QUOTE(kucingmainan @ Sep 29 2013, 12:03 AM) my fpl is shit for weeks now, basically all season. Everyone decided not to play, which is always great, and those who play doesn't do anything, super.haha, but not really concern about FPL now, some crazy results this week. Arsenal and Liverpool yet to play. The league is wide open people, I have a feeling a dark horse outside the "top 6" can challenge for top 4 on the latter stages of the season. btw did Aston villa really WIN a HOME game against MANCITY and did it WITHOUT BENTEKE? mindfucuk This post has been edited by Zeuss1220: Sep 29 2013, 12:16 AM |

Didn't expect anything less from Lukaku, 2 goals and 1 assist, just a day at the office. No point saying that we should have kept him bla bla, coz one bad game here will leave you on the bench for the next.
----- JM stormed out of press conference after being asked question on KDB. o.0 |

QUOTE(kucingmainan @ Oct 1 2013, 05:25 PM) fuuuu. lukaku banging goals like nobody business. what a catch for everton. Initially JM had lots of faith in KDB. Started the first PL game too. But he wasn't impressed on his recent performance, can't blame the boss for that. He has to do what he has to do. But the press is going too try their best to make JM seem like monster in alienating players with his recent history.haiz.. i can't see KDB future with us. pity him. JM should have more faith in him. better player than schurrle imo. another talent lose. |
