usually those who quit... their main reason is either give up, or no motivation.
They see no result so they quit. But "no $$$ spend for diet" i dont see is the main reason to quit. You can still maintain, keep fit. Keep your body stay healthy what... unless you were saying u have no $$$ to spend for gym fee lolx...

If you think that pull up is done by using arms, then you should be thinking to quit bodybuilding. Trust me.

Ill quit when all my bones break or when it concerns my health. I currently have 2 dislocated bones one at my hips and another one at my shoulder blades, it doesnt hurt though. I also suffer from high uric acid due to my high protein intake.

I've got a feeling you're the type that skimps on vege & fruits, while going over your daily protein needs. And you probably take lots of processed refined carbohydrates and sugar. Just a guess, do correct me if I'm wrong.

Quit if you want to, TS.The choice is yours, and nobody is stopping you.

The same goes if you want to continue bodybuilding. The choice is yours, and nobody is going to stop you.

However, you yourself knows the consequences THE BEST.

Tsk. Number one mistake you all make. Too high protein. Some of you take more protein than i ever do. You need max 0.75g/lb bw. 1g l/lb if cutting.

That pretty much sums it up. Its very hard to control what i eat as the nature of my job requires me to be mobile/travel for a long time. As a result id be left with no choice except eateries like mcd , kfc ,bk,carls jr u name it. The brittled bones are probrably caused by all the phospates from the soda.

I only take protein shakes pre and post workout.

Where there's a will there's a way. No point saving 30 mins in convenience and suffer for the rest of your life. What you earn can't even pay for your medical fees.

Just take for example: ditch the soda and go for plain water. Easy aight?

Emmm, you quit because of no money to spend for diet? I personally think that eating healthy save me lots of money, cooking myself instead of spending money on fast foods and junk foods and all the services tax tongue.gif

Unless you are bodybuilder who goes for competition need to maintain high amount of muscle mass that need to spend some amount of money on foods and supplements.

Not a valid reason. You need to eat right, expensive stuffs doesn't mean it's better.

Exactly. See its not difficult... I'm getting....

1kg beef = rm22
1kg chicken breast = rm10-15
1kg salmon = rm22-25
tray of 30 large eggs = rm9.90

1 big bundle of red spinach - rm1 (1-2 meals)
1 pack of 3 medium sized brinjals - rm4
1 pack okra - rm1 (last 2 meals)
1 large cauliflower - rm4-5
1 med. cabbage - rm5 (eat until you jelak)

1kg walnuts = rm38 (somewhere there lah, cant remember) - this lasts me ONE MONTH +.

500g rolled oats = rm4-5

Go out Chatime...... 1 drink rm7-8
Starbucks or coffee bean... rm10+
movies.... up to rm20+ per person with junk food and misc shit

And you tell me a bbing diet is expensive????? doh.gif rclxub.gif nobody ask you to eat organic air-flown lamb and wagyu steaks or sashimi grade fillets

OH regarding gym membership.... i'm only paying rm90-100/month, PASSPORT, on a (bloody sial) long contract. But long contract shld not be a problem, right, since bodybuilding is a LIFESTYLE that you carry to the grave. So make good decisions and prioritize.

my source of protein is only egg because it's quite cheap..sometimes chicken and fish.. and I don't have any gym membership because it's blardy expensive.. so I workout at home only.. but I don't workout to build big muscles la, just to tone up a bit and look fit only..

I've studied for 5 years in university and I can cook myself. Excuses are excuses, nothing more nothing less. If there's a will, there's a way but for momma boy, there always a failure and excuses.

How hard is it to follow pre-written recipes? If you can't do that, you have some thinking to do. I'll leave you with that.

Comparing cooking simple meals to becoming an Olympia competitor, well done.

I work as external auditor also got time to cook myself lar. Sometime my mom prepares for me also, and she says so easy just put all the ingredients inside the oven or rice cooker. Gao dim... simple..."eat to live", not "live to eat".

I just eat more rice when i bulk and rice is freaking cheap. imo, gaining muscle is more about having caloric surplus, eating enough protein, lifting weights. everything else are just non essential.

Most of those who quit (my friends included) did so because they did not see the results they expected, obviously because they had shitty diet, went to the gym half assed, and only did all of this in 3 months.

Now, after 2 years of 3-4 days/week gym with somehwat (lol) controlled diet, i have achieved the body that they can only dream of.

People need to understand that building your body takes time...a lot of time, and utmost dedication. It's a lifestyle change, not a one time thing.

When you sign up for a gym, go hard...or just go home, also, stop doing it to pick up chicks.

true. There are people who leave/ quit because they couldn't persevere or simply lost their goal on the way.
