700k times 4% interest plus 3% loss in interest gives 49k. Of cos not everything gets charged at one go and its progressive, so I have rounded it down to 40k. 40k over 1000 sq gives 40 psf

Kochin, Is it normal for developers to do a prelaunch first and then get the necessary approvals later? If there's no approval, can they advertise?

Folks....I have been googling incinerator news of late, in particular the ones in Japan. Key findings:

1. Incinerators do release pollutants which harm the environment. This is true in the 90s and now the level of toxins released is so insignificant with improvement in technology. In fact, it is better than the toxins released from landfill and removes the odour - if you dont believe me, google. These are based on facts. The many campaigns around to protest are taking old researches.

2. Incinerators do invite people to visit them eg those educational school tours to remove negative images and perception from the public's mind.

3. The proximity of japan incinerators to the city is a fact. Eg, Toshima incinerator and Ikebukuro (major city in Tokyo) is around 1 km. The distance to Nagashio hospital is 400 m or so.

1. Govt has decided on the location. Now it's just the question of tender award.

2. Whether it's japan or malaysia, it's the technology which we are importing. Why do u think ppl still buy local assemble bmw....Aren't they afraid at their brakes may fail one day?

3. Tuas fire can happen anywhere. There was this fire incident in one of Kiera condos also. So how?

4. Compare the dioxins or toxins released via landfill vs incinerators...which is better? At least incinerator proposes to resolve it

Location makes sense as the landfill is already there right now....look at it from a diff angle. So they are trying to improve landfill impact by incinerating the garbages.

Think the govt is quite serious about it this round from the numerous statements which they have issued. Now question is whether incinerators are really harmful....in fact it isn't. We have many what ifs and why...what if they don't maintain properly la...what if fire happens like in Tuas la...why in kepong....why incinerate...why now...

So how now brown cow?
