Must be my lucky day.

I don't have the original NES to test it out but I think it is still in working order and still was shrink wrap when I found it. Hmm some interesting project might come into mind... NES-USB PC controller, MP3 controller , Belt buckle ...... smile.gif

Been thinking of the USB thingy as I found some info on the net. The thing is I need to get the IC and 'perintang' (Hopefully can find those components in Jalan Pasar) but I am not to good into electronic and soldering ( search for my failed Gamecube memory card busted project sad.gif )

As for the belt buckle idea maybe can hack it to a POWER GLOVE !!! . Add some buttons and can go for Cos-play (afraid the audience to young to remember all the gadgets doh.gif ~ too old school)

How about just Frame it like those 3D frames I saw some time ago in TV. (this is a piece of history - 20 years !!!) smile.gif Just open the Joypad and saw it have a Toshiba chip IC. Run some of the serial number on the PCB board seems to confirm it should be the real deal (hopefully mine is not an imitation), the screw used is normal Phillips screw and the PCB dont have Nintendo mark in it like the newer Nintendo periphels.

I think I still have the console with 2 controller back in my hometown, packed nicely in the original box smile.gif

btw... it's amazing how much fun we can have with the simple games back then, using only A B button and the directional pad thumbup.gif

Was thinking of making it to a PlayNES smile.gif. IE hacking a playstation controller board to the NES controller. Since I have a PS to PC USB adapter this would be an easier hack and logical then to make it to full PC USB.

Just check my old PS1 controller and it seems to be dead (can't even detect the controller) sad.gif , need to find another controller so I can map the connection to the PS controller PCB. Need to find another controller to SACRIFICE cool.gif

I think you got mixed up a bit here, they are from two different cartoons dude..

(kid icarus, simon belmont, megaman and captain n) -> captain N the gamemaster

(cop, basketball guy, tomato, big foot) -> another show called Video Power (half show video game review , half show cartoon)

Dont forget the super mario super show too!
'Swing ur arms from side to side c'mon is time to go to the mario!!'

geez... that shows how old i really am...
