Anyone have this type problem ?
My HTC 1 camera always capture this type purple & pinky picture when it's not bright enough situation...

Anyway, I'm sorry if this has been asked before (couldn't find it in the 1000's of posts) but the current 64GB stock are with or without the HD mic?

Alot of HTC one is plagued by this issue, the purple flare shit, mine has it, i just found out today, how to know if you have it:

cover your lens with your finger or however way you wanna cover it, just make sure its covered, then fire up the camera app while the lens is covered, your screen should be black, look at it for a few seconds and if you see some purple shit, thats it, you got it, not software related, bring it for exchange.

*op should probably add this check step for those who with to get new unit.

best advice now is just wait for the newer batches to come in before you go exchange, most of the batch in stores now have this problem, never noticed it until i read about it, now i wish i didnt know about it

but on the "bright side", it works ok if it "bright enough", only when the ISO shoots up above 600 you will have that purple problem..

Covered my lens...but it my camera app displays red-ish display...not purple. Any1 has the same result?

I have been suspecting this problem since the day I got my One. Tried taking photos in total darkness after turning off the lights going to bed. The display was red.

However, never really cared abt it since I seldom take pictures in total darkness. Also, that day after I updated to 4.2.2, I tried the AE and AF Lock feature and found that there were purple patches on the borders of the photo.

yup thats the issue here, I havent found anyone who doesnt have that issue so far so now im "assuming" all ultrapixel sensors have this issue.

Ok Shit mine got purple flare issue... And my gf one don't have... We bought about same time...

Does it appear in your low-light photos as well? push your iso to the max and it will be clearer
