my HTC One is just 1 week old  cry.gif
same issue la, haha  cry.gif  cry.gif  icon_question.gif  icon_question.gif

battery drain issue..
first... throw away mind set of comparing to note 2....the battery on HTO is smaller than note 2 thus lifetime shorter
second, the phone is actually a heat sink...so the aluminium will disperse the heat through the aluminium, that is why u feel hot fast.... but actually it keep the internal good, i used to have sgs2, it is very hot when I use long and it was plastic but i dont mind, just put a case and it doesn't bother u much
third..turn on ur power safe mode, it will increase the battery life
fourth... close gps, bluetooth and wifi when no use, it eat battery damn fast
five.. LTE eat battery, so when you not require surf fast, or not your area no LTE, change the network setting to GSM / WCDMA auto or even better just WCDMA only
six...how many social media u have? the more it sync the more battery it eats
seven...how many hours you you on social media? if you continue for 4 hour straight, of course it drain fast, you need to post some more information, are you on youtube or streaming
eight.. have many cycle battery you gone?

My battery range from 6 hours to 13 hours average depending how long n how I use...i have damn a lot social media, whatapps, twitter, fb,badoo, tagged, twoo, tapatalk, viber, wechat, google+, kakaotalk, instagram, blinkfeed, 3-4 email sync..but i still manage 6 hours...way way better than my sgs2..
if you compare with iphone or note 2 or worst bb...you can't compare

jeff where did u buy Glass Tr , n u install Tr with case on?? , the poetic seem hard to open it lolx
*
Sorry for late reply, TR glass is with trader sakurazzz....
no, u can't it is better with case off

the case is a bit hard...so must use some strength to take it off, start with top left and right then slow take it out

putting them in is from bottom left right then top right then left....(i follow our left n right side)

take care when installing Tr glasses, 100% make sure no dust and after stick is not recommended you take it up again...just a pre-caution...if you have a fren expert better give him/her do it

the app need root access, no good for normal user.... i using batteryguru.... it use 2 days to monitor ur behaviour....then will adjust itself...a bit annoying coz it turn on and off WIFI.....but other than that, it helps lessen the battery usage

Owh thanks , I really wonder how to take this case off without tear it apart , what's ur comment about Tr...still snappy??
*
my review.....
is a damn good screen protector, the curve really make ur finger feel good, no sharp edges, you can feel the edge even with the normal plastic screen protector...n easy clean the finger n oil(i have oily face)..under the room or night, it is flawless, so nice that you dont see that you have screen protector

cons is under the sun, u have reflection, so kinda diff to use but when turn up the brightness(turn off power safe) is ok...a bit thick

even i mess it up, i will recommend to ppl to use, just beware of installation.....thats all

as pointed by other members, install it under how shower

QUOTE(ArmedandDangerous @ Jul 9 2013, 04:16 PM)
So what would be best for you?  Since you look like you want only the latest phones to get the update.  HTC is a small company compared to Samsung and Apple, they have limited programming resources.  If you want to focus on releasing 4.2.2 for HTC One, then when are the One X, One X+ and Butterfly going to get updated?  4.3 is being tested now, so their programming team will be focused there.  So 4.3 for HTC One, and don't have time to update their previous devices.

You have to do it in stages, or break the work apart so that updates might seem like they are late, but it's coming for multiple devices at a time.  It's only been a few weeks delayed.  Up till now Samsung's 4.2.2 ROM is still buggy as hell despite releasing the same time as HTC.
*
i not sure is hardware or software issue but S4 keep hanging..i saw some ppl even hang at startup with the Samsung logo...

I am damn damn glad that this havent happen to HTC ONE........i come from sgs2 so hanging is common.....but so far after nearly 1 month use, only a few apps hang..havent seen the phone itself hang(touchwood)

I hope 4.2.2 will be stable and no bugs...dunno whether the purple frame fix liao or not?

We are aware of the issues with earlier software. But current software got no problems.
Your software latest already.

I am using it. regarding sensitivity, yes it will drop very slightly... usually u just lightly touch but now need extra 10% to touch it but wont make so big difference....

I love ur photos......

Some people say HTC One bad...well because low megapixels

Is depend what you wan.. I like take pic in low light...because usually I eat food at some place low light can take better pics..a bitnoisy but at least everyone can see that what I had
second, pub,party..all low light places..i dont like flash coz it disturbing ppl and painful eye
third....seldom u need high megapixel unless u making a poster
forth...the camera is nice, fast response..except low light a bit laggy...cant blame coz it need to capture all the available light

U need to ask urself, what u use the phone camera for? If you wan to take in normal days but u need to modift a lot on pic like crop, zoom then I wont recommend...but u wan take pic to post on instagram, fb....but no need crop or zoom, then HTC One is the best coz normal or low light it work great.....

Did I mention ZOE? it is great and so memorable...and the slide show that it auto make, superb! No need to buy software or edit at laptop to make the slideshow, put in a folder n voila

U seen alot complain, the exposure n sharpness need to be play around but if u can handle it, u can be like a pro....

remember this is a phone with camera...not DSLR/camera...
if you wan super quality, get a camera....it beats all the phones camera no matter how we see it

For the FB thingy,

Go to settings --> apps -->

Click Facebook

Then, disable

Check back at your gallery, the FB image should no longer be there.
After that, enable the FB app back. That should do it
*
But funny thing is I have done that but somehow it came back...maybe after the facebook app updated...
is kinda annoying
