As I said this Android I just treat as a toy and S-Off and rooted becos it's a challenge since I can jailbreak IOS closing one eye sometimes even two eyes.

Custom kernel and custom ROMs, basically everything in your phone is open to experimentation tongue.gif

Hi sifus, is it possible to mount the HTC one as a disk drive (with a drive letter) without rooting the phone? Thanks in advance.
*
Even rooted there is no way to mount it as USB Mass Storage yet.

Really? I used to mount my old rooted S2 with Samba.
*
Jelly Bean changes the file system so for now there is no reliable way to mount as USB Mass Storage, even in recovery you can't.

QUOTE(jhchong @ Jun 28 2013, 06:22 PM)
so what camera settings you guys are using?
or just stock/default?

my pictures always comes out one or two tone dimmer compared to actual viewing through the camera before pressing the shutter.

quite frustrating sad.gif
*
-1 Sharpness. You're experiencing this issue cos when the camera app is open, HTC sets the screen brightness to 100%. Images you look at through the camera app will appear brighter than they really are. Now custom settings only have 2 settings for exposure. +1 or +2. Hopefully they will release an updated camera firmware that allow us to adjust these settings in smaller steps.

Don't it interfere your camera performance? Well lense screen  protector need to be super clear and thin else it might interfere the light coming into the lenses.
*
Super clear but it will never be as sharp as being naked. Lens have resolution too you know wink.gif

This is my concern as well. But lets say if I get a fast charger, it will hurt the battery in the long run right?  sweat.gif
*
No such thing as fast/slow charger. The phone will only accept the amount of power it requests. Chargers can't force power into the battery.

2 reasons. Either it's really empty liao, or it's overheating. Let it be awhile it SHOULD stop.

overheating? i didnt know that... how hot is considered overheating... my phone went up to 41+C during intense gaming  hmm.gif normally it stays at 30-35C
*
50C also no prob lol. If you don't feel your hand on fire then it's just your battery having very low charge.

guys i just bought a HTC One but instead of the usual M7, i get the 801s, what is the difference? i do have the Brighstar documents inside though.
*
M7 is the internal project code by HTC. 801s is the variant number which is sold in this part of the world and works with all local telco LTE frequencies.

4a. If revone reports success reboot the device and proceed to step 5)
4b. If revone reboots the device (we'll pretend this isn't an undiagnosed random crash) please wait 2 minutes then try again from step 2.
4c. If revone reports that you need to reboot and try again please reboot and try again from step 2.

Anyone here will get the Google Play Edition , or perhaps prefer the Sense over AOSP version ..
*
So far many have tried the GE ROMs and found it lacks something like all AOSP ROMs. Sense 5 has come a long way since Sense 2 (man my Desire Z is still sitting on my table).

It is 6000mH. More than twice HTC One (2300mH). Still not high capacity enough?
*
At most you will get 80% of the stated capacity. Best you can hope is 2 full charges.
