Using Lookout.

Beside anti-malware, when someone try to unlock my phone and failed a few times, their photo will be taken and sent to me by email (most of the time is my kids, haha...)

brother, the zoom in is a digital zoom, u cant expect the quality to be the same as the optical zoom. moreover, htc one only has 4mp sensor which is definitely not good in digital zoom. digital zoom is only cropping a portion of the pic and enlarge it. blurry picture is expected. and of course, if u have shaky hand then it makes the matter worse. not defending htc one but just let u know what are the physical limitation of a phone camera.

Of course since it's only 4mp. That's the only downside of the camera I feel.

we all used to the high pixel density already tongue.gif
i find it quite handy when i need to upload the pic to fb since the image size is smaller. if i wanted to do some cropping, 4mp is definitely not sufficient. its low light performance i would say so so only. how i wish if it has those pro cam setting like the lumia 1020, at least i can play with the aperture or the shutter speed in low light.

not offended anyway. im not the die hard fans of One. if were to compare with note 1, i would said note 1 camera is better than one, at least in terms of sharpness and saturation. one camera disappoint me somehow as in the colour of the image is slightly wash off compare to note 1. if i tune it to be more saturated, at least by 1 stop, the image turns out to be over saturated.

for me, the draw for the camera of the One is the speed. you rarely miss any shots with it especially when you are not carrying a camera. generally decent shots and pretty good low light shots for food pics when you are dining without needing flash. if i want a good photo shot, i would be having a dslr instead.

yea, i agreed. just that if the camera equipped with the pro cam setting then it will certainly become a plus point, a bonus to have. tongue.gif
i used it for food photography especially i dont carry a dslr when dating with my gal. i will rate one camera maybe 7 out of 10. a decent light weight camera which serves u fairly in most scenario.

Want a high end one? Nokia lumia 1020. Pwn every camera phone in the market. Even Pwn most of consumer point n shoot cameras. Although it's only 1.1micron pixel if it is shot in 41mp,but intrapolate it to 5mp,u will get 7+micron pixel brows.gif virtually noiseless photos. 6 lens zeiss lens... drool.gif
