can try to claim warranty? Last time my hox got issue with the white body color tainted with some red color when using pouch. Got a new unit after waited one week warranty claimed.
& I never dare to use leather pouch already.... :-(

For the material for one, I would not go for tpu case, soft case ot pouch as it is bound for friction, much more easy compared to hard case.
Generally alu doesnt age well compared to plastic... But it gives a premium feel... Same goes to iPhone 5

Wrong, you still have warranty especially now we have S-Off, as long as you revert back to stock, you will have your warranty. Even with HTC-Dev unlock, it wont totally void your warranty, just that there is the risk.

It aint tricky actually, just need to try alot of time and it is just a few command. But depends on person
