i dun c ppl hate on hi-nu redesign (well there is some but not as vitriol) so why do ppl hate epyon redesign and by association hate on this zero redesign?

epyon is 1 of the best kit of 2011, extremely underrated. i dun understand why the hate.
*
Some people are just very purist when it comes to things they love. Epyon EW isn't Epyon TV therefore he is bad. I've seen the same reaction to Nu ver ka. I would like to see a 100% accurate MG of TV Wing Zero, but this ver. ka redesign still looks extremely promising.

i'm all for katoki giving my model kits the extra kick, don't mind the anime accuracy, after all, it's a character i like, and it's redesigned in such a way that it only got better

I'm a newbie, im kinda confuse with the marker

Let say I got a MG RX-79-2 1/100

I need a marker to cover those sprue mark. I notice there is Gundam marker set, gundam 00 marker set, gundam Ace marker set and gundam seed marker set, I mainly aim for the yellow, blue and red, are there any difference between those sets???

the differences are the colors (pretty obvious sweat.gif) other than that, it's just the name.. i believe the tones are more or less the same, just pick a set with the colors you want/need

mainly blue, red and yellow only, the rest I don't care much....

i see, can't help much though, i've only ever purchased LBX markers, their colours are more vibrant than gundam markers, but of course, at a higher price

i've got the gundam marker set though, it should work well with your RX-78-2, since the names are related to the time lines, and should fit the series well enough

Use grey on light colors. Black on darker colors where the grey would barely show.

Case 1: The gundam face white color based, we use grey then ?

Case 2: Gundam body which is usually blue, then use black for panel lining?

great info there

when you guys do panel lining right, do you guys also draw the inner panel wall? or is it forbidden to do so?

It's better to get the walls. It'll give you a more solid looking line and it'll look cleaner.

there's no right or wrong, honestly.. just do whichever you think is better, experiment until you're happy, marker ink is easy to remove anyway tongue.gif

as for me, i try to get the walls too, makes it look better and has more depth

woooo, paneling line, sometime good looking in thin, but sometime good looking in thick.

if the model got many lines (like macross), suggest use tiny line for better looking.
