QUOTE(TaurusOxford @ Jun 23 2013, 02:21 AM) My new WIP. I'm sure this will be to your liking Hxiiik haha, the chest transformation is the most fiddly one, though i also have to admit i have never transformed this guy after the initial WR mode photoshoot.. he's been in MS mode ever since, so gluing would be the most logical choice» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I did do some modifying though. I don't care about the transformation so his chest mechanics are all superglued solid so he's pretty sturdy now. |

QUOTE(limyuyang123 @ Jun 23 2013, 03:22 PM) Hi guys. I'm new to this thread. BTW, I got myself a MG Aile Strike Gundam RM. And I'm gonna start building it soon. However, I need some master to teach me. why didn't u get MG Strike Rouge?! that one is so much better! RM sucksI have a simple question, what's the best sandpaper for me to remove nub marks ? I checked Google already, some says use 400 > 600 > 800 > 1000. Is the statement above correct? |

as much as it would look amazing to see unicorn throw off all his extra equipment for some melee with his 4 beam sabers, he needs his equipment for the mission, so we won't be seeing some melee action like that
but then again with all the weapons, he engaged the Norn with his beam saber, so i hope they make a really good fight scene for the start of ep7 QUOTE(Tiger I @ Jun 23 2013, 09:44 PM) QUOTE(dopeycheese @ Jun 23 2013, 09:51 PM) sorry no sos, found on some forum somewhere, forgot the link |

QUOTE(TheGreatBahamut @ Jun 24 2013, 12:41 PM) Not trying to promote here but I would say they are quite friendly, and will help you find the things you want, clear your modeling doubts and so on... Selling gunpla just their part time I guess, so that they will help other modelers. I've saw some of their works, they are quite skillful modelers so they could recommend the correct tools for your need. well from my experience, online-wise, since i'm not at JB so i have only attempted to contact them via FB, they sound like they're not very interested in doing business.. their replies are half-hearted and i don't see the friendliness you mentionedMaybe their price not really cheap compare to some LYN sellers but still within acceptable price range. If they do stock clearance, you will get cheap limited kit, just like LT warehouse sales. And IINM they are official bandai gunpla distributor, I think I saw it last time on gundam.info but forgot which event, maybe the lucky draw. So they are trust able and recommended seller and obviously a good choice for those live in Johor, last time they also do COD at Ipoh, now not sure. granted that was my one and only experience contacting them, have never bought anything from them though |

I notice there is Gundam marker set, gundam 00 marker set, gundam Ace marker set and gundam seed marker set, I mainly aim for the yellow, blue and red, are there any difference between those sets??? |

QUOTE(Edison83 @ Jun 25 2013, 10:46 AM) well, im buying over internet, color of picture of the marker can be deceiving sometimes, so I try ask here see if somebody know anything about it. i see, can't help much though, i've only ever purchased LBX markers, their colours are more vibrant than gundam markers, but of course, at a higher pricemainly blue, red and yellow only, the rest I don't care much.... i've got the gundam marker set though, it should work well with your RX-78-2, since the names are related to the time lines, and should fit the series well enough |

there's no right or wrong, honestly.. just do whichever you think is better, experiment until you're happy, marker ink is easy to remove anyway
as for me, i try to get the walls too, makes it look better and has more depth |

QUOTE(TheGreatBahamut @ Jun 26 2013, 01:28 AM) As I mentioned before, I couldn't answer much because I don't use marker to cover nub marks. but how to cover up nub marks on TITANIUM FINISH? But I know every markers can hide nub mark as long as you pick the correct color. Maybe you can't get the best result but as long as it close to the original then it done the job. If you expect to cover up all, paint your kit is the best solution. Or master cutting and sanding skill so you won't leave nub marks there. I'm able to clean my kit without leaving any nub marks as long as it didn't become white when I cut them from gates. Take your time and practice your sanding skil. Bear in mind that Rome wasn't built in one day. If you want good result, don't rush to complete it. I never complete a kit in one day time, simple SD also took me 2 days and my efforts are not wasted. Good luck in mastering proper sanding skill. |
