I would consider buying all 5 Gundams (Strike, Aegis, Blitz, Buster and Duel) if they have special bundle price for it.

the newly released SEED MGs are very attractive.. but Aegis will be the top priority .. heh... It has been awhile since Daban released any attractive MGs...

What was the last MG released? Titus?

Would it be too much to hope for them to release clear Blitz? sad.gif

guys, need some advise here, my bro wants to buy few bootleg gunpla from china, will the kastam block or charge taxes for it? unsure.gif
*
Depends on how many. Usually for below 500, they won't bother with it. And the tax is only 10%.

ONLY???  rclxub.gif
Ic...about this tax thingy, is it only applicable for shipping only?
If my friend check in a big boxes full of gundams from Japan, will he be taxed too? <--- really noob here.
*
No, the tax is applicable to all, unless the distributor has a duty and tax exemption. Those gunplas you can find in the local shops, the prices are already inclusive of taxes. That's why sometimes when you see things being sold cheaper online (overseas), don't be so happy yet. Combining the waiting time with possible duty or tax, it's better to just buy at the local store.

Again, it depends on the invoice. The customs clearance will have to be done in Ringgit, so if the officer thinks the Gunplas are taxable, than you're in bad luck laugh.gif

A LOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG awaited PG OO Raiser is finally here. Its really make my day. rclxm9.gif <--this heals my frustration on false hope of PG ARF b4. laugh.gif
*
PG 00R looks more robust than PG SF, the intricate details and parts separation really make this gunpla stands out. Evethough I've only finished building the legs for more than a year now laugh.gif

Its for those who r sick of the small 1/144 and 1/100 head. laugh.gif
Actually, for me its look more detail and nicer they make a head like that. Maybe bcoz all the effort of detailing is focused on the head (and a bit of torso) only. And its also testing us do we recognised our beloved gundam by their overall look or we can straightly identify wjat gundam is it just by looking their head design. thumbup.gif

Unfortunately, it's not the same as original. By original I mean how Sunrise designed Justice in the anime. The yellow fin was supposed to be connected unsure.gif

I just finish Sinanju HG Daban. At my first impression i was amazed of the quality of the plastic compare to my last daban build (00 seven sword). They did improve from time to time. After building the only problem i had was with the PC plastic they need some trimming and it doesn't really give a nice movement in articulation. So i improvise abit i took some of my bandai extra PC parts to fit inside which work really well. Only think daban needs to improve is their PC(Polystyrene) but i am happy with how the sinanju turn out. Here's a photo of it , I haven't added decals yet planning to paint this kit.user posted image

I think I know which part you're talking about. It's the thruster that's connected to the back pack isn't it? brows.gif I too had to trim the polycaps, and lost some frictions there, but fixed it with the super glue method.

I'm going to take a break from purchasing gunpla after RG SF, too many unassembled gunpla (Bandai or bootlegs) still idly fresh in their boxes doh.gif

I've known about these bootlegs for years but to actually found out there's a thread about it. blink.gif Is it any good?
*
Well, unless you own both (for the same model), you can't compare the quality. There are excellent kits, there are let downs.

I bought GG Deathscythe EW, the quality was not like other GG kits, the plastic quality felt 'drab' and weird, I bought the B* version the next day.

However, there are kits that closely mimic the quality of B*, such as 007S and Epyon. One of the few things they need to improve is the decals, they are still observably thick and can be rubbed off quite easily.

Seriously, PG and MG 00 Raiser really don't have big difference as in part separation, I also not impress by the GN drive gimmick, so 1/100 is better for me to save my shelf space. But for those who like big size or feel that the GN drive really cool then shouldn't miss this.
*
Yeap not many difference, but you can still tell them apart by the skirt, shoulder and some details on the torso and head. My B* PG 00R is sitting idly in its box now, have more fun in displaying MG 00R biggrin.gif

Just now went to random hardware shop and saw bonsy 18kt gold priced at RM13 so I grab it straight away. Anyone used this gold for their SF or mix it with other colour to achieve better effect? I would like to see it. smile.gif
*
For better effect, lightly coat it with silver or yellow paint, depending on the finish tone that you want. Just finiahed my SF with the bosny gold.

The ankle joints were quite weak, blu tack didn't work well, I guess I have to use the super glue method + blu tack.

Now I've giving the gold plated dragoon frame that Bandai provided a second thought, something about the nonuniform tones tempts me to scrap it and paint back with the copper gold I painted the entire skeleton hmm.gif
