Took my car last week and found out there is a paint defect and also stain from unknown thing at engine bonnet, car roof and passenger side both door. Then the SA say it can be remove by polish and ask me to go for polish then claim back from him.

i paid rm238 for 3 layer polish in car's international and found out it can't be remove and according to the car's international guy the paint already blend with the car paint and the stain on the roof maybe from aircond water or bird shit and it's already corroded the paint. Those stain are more than 1 week old meaning it might already there when the car is in their store.

I've call the SA and he say will discuss with his boss how to settle this problem but until now still no news.

so any KIA dealer here can advise me what can i do??? shall i report this to KIA HQ? And i totally unsatisfied with the car condition and is it possible for me to demand for a new car unit??? From the SA he keep on saying i can't dp that.

notice the defect on the bonnet before sign the VD form. others part defect didnt notice until i bring the car for wash n polish on the 2nd day since the SA told me to bring to polish and claim from him.

I even demand for new car when i saw the defect but the SA insist ask me to bring to polish coz according to him it can be remove by polish.

really dissapointed.

Update with my case:

Complaint to KIA HQ and i demand for new car change. Send my car to KIA HQ and let them see the condition and they offer me to repaint my car. I ask them only 1 question, what am i gonna use for my transport when it's in re-paint process??? and they can't answer me.

At the very same day i went to 1 car detailing shop using maguiar's product and let the person in charge see the condition. And good news is it can be fix with the price of RM450 for the 4 layer treatment (Compound+clay+polish + glaze polish + wax)

So the paint condition is good now although there is still remaining defect that lies inside the base paint.

SA agree to let me claim for the cost for the 4 layer treatment and previous 3 layer treatment, total of RM 688. (the so call 3 layer treatment by Car's international is rubbish and it's not even a treatment but just a normal polish and wax. Please avoid Car's international service)

to be exact they can change new car to you but they just don't want to since it's a lot of procedure. My friend bought a proton and get to change a new car for the defect problem.

Not to mention for luxury car like BMW and Merc, friend of mine get a new car too from the defect. It just of matter how you demand for it.

Well i went to KIA HQ directly since the authorized dealer that i bought my car from doesn't help and keep on delaying my case. Sweet talk before you buy the car and once you bought the car, the service is horrible. 1st time in my life having so much problem with buying new car. From the not working GPS system to paint defect.
I don't mine if they can provide me a transport to use while my car send for repaint. But when i ask what am i gonna use for my transport to the SA, he can't answer me nor provide me with solution.

Raza Motor batu caves

I've sent my car for 1st service at KIA service batu caves. The waiting room got a mirror where you can see your car being service in the service area. Not sure with other service center.

1st service at 1000km, next service will be 10000km or 6 months which ever come 1st.

the 2014 model K3 not using Nexen anymore. They replace with continental MX 5.

I did mine manually or so call DIY with Meguiar's Ultimate Compound. Can get it at Ace Hardware at RM69 or try find in garage sales or lelong for cheaper price.

Well there is many product brands out there example like Meguiar's, 3M, AutoGlym etc etc.
I Personally use Meguiar's. Glass coating RM180, 5 years car coating RM1400.

If you connect your android phone to the usb port and select music from the player, it will try to read from your phone which is not supported. Tried using external HDD as media and failed to read the song inside, i heard from somewhere it only support 8GB of size max.

If you wanna listen to songs when connect your phone you can choose radio or dvd/cd.
To play songs from bluetooth you need to sync your phone with the player and play the songs from your phone media player. click on the switch on the car player and you can listen to the songs from your phone via bluetooth.

I believe it's the sound of max out compression for the rear suspension. Happen before with my old wira with custom suspension, fix it by changing custom spring. But for your case it's under warranty so load some heavy things inside your boot and take them to the service centre and ask them to check on the problem.

My cerato currently got no problem carrying 3 passenger at the back with 4 luggage bags in the boot. Only need to ask the SA to redo my tint since it got bubble after 2 weeks.

Im not a 2.0 owner but i did check the 2.0 specs. Yes there is no auto levelling headlamp. If you open up the manual booklet, it stated that some function with (if equipped). So if you don't find it in your car meaning it's not equipped. You don't get to use the auto levelling headlamp function anyway unless you always carry heavy load in boot or heavy passengers at the back.

Oh btw if you scared other car will highlight you from the back coz your headlamp is too high while loading heavy weight when following them at back, fear not coz you have chromic mirror equipped

Just off the fader function and your music won't the 0.5 delay.

As what i did try is i can play songs from my phone thru bluetooth connection, but you can't control the playlist using the remote on the steering nor the car player. You need to put all the playlist in your phone media player and play them. After you play them press the switch tab on the car player and you will hear your phone song list playing.

As for connecting your phone as a media device to play songs from your phone, i don't think it will work. I tried with my wife note 2 connected thru the usb port in the car and it won't detect the phone as media device. What i'm guessing here is it only support certain storage size example like 8GB max. More than that it won't read.
