Do 10k servis intervals, then no need remove so often Quite difficult if wan to remove them before service. If VS or ular oren then ok la. Both oso 1 pcs only. Thats y WTA gt difference or not with/without Eric GC. . Tot wan to see worth the effort or not to install. I knw some forumerr here install GC oso even though still under warranty. But me no magician guy. Not too good in DIY oso. If too much work, then I can make things worse. What do u think ? |

SV and standard does not have ABS.Just my 2sen, because im looking at buying it.. Feel free to correct me and give additional info The only trim that compromises comfort is the SE, with it's 15" rims and sh!t tires. QUOTE(LordDenning @ Jun 28 2013, 11:51 AM) I know SV has 2 airbags. It doesn't have ABS.QUOTE(LordDenning @ Jun 28 2013, 11:55 AM) I already asked the sales person, SV is also FLX it's just different (dont know how to say) lines.. SV also got 2 airbags(thats why i say SV got + safety features than current FLX standard, other safety features include the V bar thingy) As I know only flx exec has abs, ebd not sure.. All the latest safety features touted in the SV is already available in Standard, Exec and SE. Exec and SE has ABS+EBD.As for the internals, the SV using all the same as current FLX leh, nothing changed. Internal wise yes engine and gearbox are the same, it's the accesories (quite a lot, if you ask me) that are reduced compared to Standard. So down to your personal preference. SV is a trim in the Saga FLX line. They're called FLX SV, FLX Standard, FLX Exec, FLX SE. This post has been edited by dares: Jun 28 2013, 12:01 PM |

QUOTE(LordDenning @ Jun 28 2013, 12:04 PM) Yea thats what im trying to say. SV vs Standard the difference is those accessories. and now im trying to gather what is missing. There are stuffs that they might reduced as well that you don't see.so far i know, no first aid kit, safety triangle, door visor, unpainted door handle and the boot thing, the exhaust also they give the basic one.. All these are minor minor accessories only. If really want it also can just go buy yourself outside for few hundred $$. If like that might as well just go for SV since price difference around 3k compared to Standard... For example, when the FLX came out we found that it did not have the foam behind the bumper and bitumen coating in the wheel arches. These are the things that they cut cost on and never tell you. Anyway, you just buy within your means la. I won't buy Viva even if I have to take a bus, no offence, drfeedgood This post has been edited by dares: Jun 28 2013, 12:10 PM |

I'm also makign sure I know what I'm buying to ensure I don't regret lol Oh btw, I also notice that the rear bootlid does not have a cover underneath, not sure if it is the same for the Standard. |

QUOTE(nxtpg @ Jun 28 2013, 01:49 PM) how much is your flx? 46k? the 41k also dont have side mirror controls His is exec trim, RM44k and above IINM.can share the service cost for 1k, 55 10k 15k 20k? do they add those unnessasary stuff like petrol bbosster, engine oil treatment during service? reason i am asking the cost is i might want to pass the car to my dad to replace his aging wira and make sure he knows every details beforehand. so if i get from eon, it would be ok if service in eon penang and eon kl or ipoh alternately? does any sales center accept cc payment for deposit or even full payment by cc? 1k, 5k, 10k, 15k is minor service, only change engine oil, oil filter and oil drain plug gasket. Say no to anything else. 20k is minor major service, in addition to the above 3 items, add spark plug, air filter etc...(I forgot what else, others pls fill in.) |

QUOTE(blau-saga @ Jun 28 2013, 03:00 PM) next year proton will introduce new small car, u may want to wait, or if proton hv a new redesigned saga later, it should due now (saga blm already 5 years old) slowly wait, not gonna come soon.QUOTE(nxtpg @ Jun 28 2013, 03:16 PM) i dont need the abs ebd as this car will be used in small pulau only (pinang) ABS allows you to steer while hard braking, nothing to do with the car's mass. If you ride a motorbike and brake so hard until the wheels lock you also can't steer la.i also feel abs ebd is not effective for small cars like saga unlike big bulky ones like perdana...camry accord. |

QUOTE(drfeelgood @ Jun 28 2013, 03:49 PM) Cost servicing Why so expensive 1k at Eon, around 200+ for Petronas Syntium 800 Semi Synthethic oil. 5k at Proton Edar, I dunno how much, my wife did it, but the magnacrap cost Rm69. 10K at Eon around 300+ because I switched to Petronas Syntium 1000 Fully Synthethic because the 800 is crap... especially if driven long distance. 1k is free labour, I used Syntium 800 also all in costs around RM120++ 10k Also same as you, used Syntium 1000 and it was only RM200++ |
