QUOTE(wilwithsingleL @ Jun 19 2013, 11:29 PM) So does that mean our 208 has got no ECO and stop start feature? And how's your acceptable fc like? Thanks for sharing! What do you expect. Malaysians don't even turn off the engine while parking, think how they react when the engine turns off at a traffic light!

QUOTE(wilwithsingleL @ Aug 13 2013, 03:46 PM) Hi fellow owner! thanks for your posts =) agreed, the size of the glove box is indeed cacat due to their laziness, and it is also true that the engine noise is quite loud when the car is still not warm up yet. I normally wait for the car to warm up a bit before getting off, maybe around 2 minutes or so. Though I've seen some article somewhere that said to not leave your car idle to warm up, just drive slowly is what suggested. Mine is black 5 door, and with reverse sensor. I bet you couldn't wait any longer that's why opted for the one without reverse sensor? =P anyway please enjoy the exclusiveness now while it lasts, there will be more 208s on the road very soon! Cheers, Wil Yes, drive immediately, but don't rev high. Say shift at 2000, 2500. Then your engine will be fine. Small glove box may mean the airbag is taking away all the space...

Oh. Haha. Well, I guess the right hand drive market isn't big enough. Having to rewire everything... I remember my Renault 19 had a modern interior cause left hand drive facelifted version. The right hand drive model was stuck in the 80s.

QUOTE(skyblu3 @ Aug 15 2013, 03:51 PM) China = left hand drive. Biggest market in the world (?) Huh? China, America and Europe are left hand drive (apart from England). So cars are typically developed for those markets, and later then converted to right hand drive. Not always successfully (I find it worse when the handbrake/gearknob are not in the center, and they fail to turn those around!). Can you fit a coke can into the glovebox? Then the aircon makes sense... In my LHD Citroen Xsara the glove box was full sized, fuses was on the left side I believe (not sure though), and the bonnet lever too. In the RHD Kangoo the glove box is, well, there isn't one, but it is full sized (there is no door...). The fuses are on the left too, but underneath the glovebox. Bonnet lever is on the left.

QUOTE(soonlee33 @ Mar 15 2014, 02:51 PM) What kind of car models in market has auto cruise with manual transmission ? This is my first time too hearing this lol Why? Of course there are cars with cruise control and manual gearbox. There are also cars with adaptive cruise control (radar) and manual gearbox. It just doesn't work over as big a range.
