for the slow pace, long GDC combat... just think like playing real time turn based rpg as many modern FF series tend to follow this design. eg FF13

Seem like GW2 to me

-I want choices, lot's of choices
u can pvp, wvw, dungeon, farming, jumping puzzle, play music etc

-levelling is part of the fun, NOT a grind to make it to max level in order to enjoy the actual contents
end game content start from lvl1, no grinding, just hav fun till max lvl then play normally forward

-give me enough reasons to play everyday, such as short and long term achievements not just on "bunch of numbers in your book"
u can do dailly n monthly.... farm dungeon or fractal or token... lvling wvw rank.... farm material for ur legendary...etc


btw, i still play gw2

farming in every game is tedious work
dungeon got boring sure.... like im bored with WoW raid after 99x, no drop for me also
jumping puzzle is frustrating yes, but give u sense of achievement when u completed it

it depend on gamer i think.... so u like grinding to max lvl, but MIX dun like grind

i think i shud suggest the developer to get player IC or sumthing, to prove tht u male or female, so u can make female char if u truly a female in RL. just like wat SAO did. so senang for me to chase Asuna in this game hehe
