1. light ROM (only rubbish on it AFAIK is the donate thing, remove with TBPro) <200mb
2. pairing with devil kernel gives a good compromise on performance + battery life
3. possibility of dualboot (lol)
4. you get a nice AOSP without the weird extras like Paranoid Android
5. more space in your built in memory
6. theming is easy peasy Themes on XDA for CM10.1
7. amazing looking cLocK widgets!
8. lockscreen goodies
9. option to select "no wallpaper"
*
Agree, CM rom notorious known for battery saving. It can last long because the only colour u will see is blue and black even wallpaper also black....As for TW it bring some refreshment on the colour at your display like green, yellow , etc that why each time you see the battery status normally display will be the top of the battery food chain.

Last time S2 i used CM rom alot...play heavy games like 4 hours and i get only 85% battery life normally compare TW i would get 60%

I don't have an extra handset nor a camera with me now..but i think i did a good job for a first timer..no bubble is visible where it matters except some minimal ones at the bottom and right side edges..manage to minimize by outwardly massaging it using the supplied squeege..one shall not see it if one does not squint one eyes..

the end result does please me as it looks pretty awesome being layered by glass and all..minus the edges it looks like there is nothing being put on the screen..clear as the sky..

and the oleophobic coating..does it job well enough..in a normal condition no fingerprints is visible when tested..but with very sweaty thumb..there are some smudges visible albeit much better than my previous plastic s.p which is solely for clarity purposes only..no oleophobic whatsoever..so no comparison can be made with other oleophobic product..

I will give it 4/5 just because I noticed there could be a lot of things that could go wrong during installation since the width of the s.p is made precisely to the width of the screen allowing minimal adjustment should the installer have unsteady hands..then again if someone like me can apply it justifiably so..without any usage of sorcery..I guess anyone could have done it..

bundled together with my aluminum silver button to compliment the UAG signature at the back of my casing..I can now safely act like a bawse..

Great to hear that ..... Btw, MIME had replied my response. It seem i'm having a bad copied tempered glass. Replacement is on the way. *sigh*

owh? I can see they've mentioned something about lifting?..is it the bubbles in the edges?
*
Nop, The leak probably from the lifting edge. i had try out the some experiment with water and force and below symptom seem legit as what MIME claim.

1. Water was able to sip into the edge of the tempered glass screen protector.
2. Rub and hold one side of the edge, Notice another edge somehow lifted more. (How can i miss that)

Isn't that unacceptable? I would put that down as either a defective product or design fault since it isn't able to completely do what it is supposed to. Game on trying to make a claim? I would be. Who knows? You just might get a replacement set sent to you.
*
Replacement is actually on the way. I did highlight to MIME support team if this is normal to have on their tempered glass screen protector and they admit it is the problem of lifting and honour the replacement.

QUOTE(muctabucta @ Jun 21 2013, 11:44 AM)
don't know how try that with water but point 2 doesn't happen to me..guess I'm good to go..
*
Good for you...Haiz~! had to wait for replacement for another week cry.gif
To used water testing, you need to use a cloth soak it with normal water then apply on the edge... normally if a glass lay flat or seal with no air bubble there wont be water flowing in...but unfortunately for mine, it easily flow in

Any recommendation on the metal bumper ? been searching around for sweet armour which i been using since S2 ... drop number times but still get my phone protected.now it seem everywhere out of stock so i got the alternative china brand type of metal bumper but didn't like it because the metal bumper scratch my screen when i try to remove for cleaning. I was lucky though to have plastic screen protector on last time....

Bumper casing are not really recommended, especially metal or alu ones. It will actually disrupt your signal hence you will get weaker signals for both wifi and GSM. Why not consider TPU casing instead? More durable.
*
Well try it but not liking it because i found that most of the TPU case are slot in type instead of screw fit...so the edge of the cover tend to pop out and activate my phone when i put into my pocket unless i get otter full cover, but by then it would be very big size....so far i try out metal cover from sweet armour last time with s2 but didnt have this problem...even my china made cover seem also had no problem with the reception ....

P/S: hmm i know what it was not affected...probably designer had make a the small hole on the hole at the cover edge for the antenna reception...

R u do aware the so called "Sweet Armor" cases selling in LYN are actually replicas ? Anyway , u can try PM brotan , think he got or tykenny . Anyway , if u dont mind ordering from online sites , google for "obostore" . It's based in HK . Casing wise , expect no branded cases like Zenus , SGP , etc , mostly OEM and unbranded cases .
*
Thanks for the input.

Try with tykenny ...it seem he been quiet on PM. Used to brought sweet Armor from him on my S2. I dont think brotan is selling sweet armor so i got from him the alternative alu case which end up got scratch coz of the design front facing slide in to lock...so i ditch the cover go back to screw mount type.. Just want my phone to built like a tank... tongue.gif

QUOTE(andrewtho @ Jun 28 2013, 12:13 PM)
You obviously never hear of Cruzerlite casing then? No such issues on accidental press, solid and one tough cookie. You should consider them as well if you ever want to try out a TPU casing smile.gif
*
Thanks for the input.
Yeah, Just looking at it...
