im also a heavy gamer.
but im looking something more massive, a 17.3" laptop.

next 4 years plan to travel to japan while bringing the lappy and i can play games at a cafe during lunch hours and perhaps, joining some high school girls if can.

weight is not an issue for me. as long i can enjoy my anime and movies on it, i am satisfied.

no, it wont except if the battery is placed near where the exhaust vents are. another way of dying is because of extreme wear and tear, that is use the battery exceeding 30% and below.

saw some Y510P models around low yat. not sure whether is local set or AP set.

wont if those warranty stickers arent tampered.

as for the Y510P, i think it is better to get single GPU version + extra GPU.
save back the RM200 bucks.

IMO, battlefield 4 is the most well optimized game.
