What is "freeDOS", first thing that comes to my mind is DOS OS, though it wouldn't make much sense considering it pretty much can be classified as abandonware/freeware.

What is a W8? It should be something good considering that it warrants an extra RM200.

How do the Z and G series compare with the Y series in terms of gaming? Playing on low-med settings on 13xx by 7xx resolutions and/or lower and no AA. I'm thinking of games like bioshock, dishonored, etc. Both systems specs look about the same to me, with the Z series costing RM400 less.

How is the cooling on the Y series (Y400/500)? I remember purchasing an Acer 4736G back in late 2009 sporting an Intel t6500 processor, Geforce 310m and 4gb ram, and not being able to play games like FO3 without the risk of the whole thing melting. As is was and still is, I'm using power saving settings with the lowest cpu/gpu output available through default windows settings- it idles around 60C. I'm tired of laptops boasting high end specs when in reality around half to three quarters of the hardware's true potential can be used without frying the motherboard. Given the heat issues that plague high-end laptops, is there any point in adding adding a second video car?

How user friendly is it in terms to taking it apart for cleaning (cleaning fan, reapply thermal paste, etc) The Acer 4736G is not user friendly in this regard at all- I mean you literally have to remove whole thing piece by piece just to get to the fan. Check the video on youtube with the Vietnamese technician taking it apart to get an idea of what I'm talking about.

Any news on later releases with a tad lower specs? like an i5 version? The i7 seems a little bit overkill in my opinion due to aforementioned issues.

Thanks!
