I find that the weight is kinda heavy but since its a gaming laptop, i took HEAVY into consideration and out of the question. The build is quite good. Solid looking. The keyboard backlit led can be set to 2 contrast by pressing FN+spacebar key. Tried Tomb Rider benchmark. Run on ultra settings. Lowest FPS 14, Average was 21 FPS highest is around 28 FPS. For me its playable. Other than that, mine is the 768p    i thought Y410p is 1600x900p but nevermind. I can force run this laptop to play games on 1600x900p by editing the resheight and reswidth in regedit.   
Conclusion:

Pros:
Backlit Keyborad
Good JBL speakers
Haswell i7 with 6MB Cache
Decent GT750M which is faster than the GTX660M

Cons:
Not the IPS screen
Malaysia dosent have the 1600X900p model

Erm.. that 750M which is faster than 660M is it with SLI or not ?
No SSD's
Handrest needs to be cleaned once in a while after playing because the oil from our palm tends to stick there
Side exhaust vents instead of rear vents
Touchpad abit funny

Imo the price will go down abit to the rm2999 level after the y500 being phased out.

imo now the USD exchange rate keep going up, might affect the price of the product too

Y510p sli model come with extra dvdrom?
Some say no dvdrom. 

i've found that already...
but still hoping i got extra money to buy the sli version..
if not just buy the non sli version n hoping i can find the xtra bay gpu later ......

definitely u need 170W if u want to use SLI , and u can just stick to the 170W with or without SLi , the only reason y using 170W is the ori one cannot provide enough juice if SLI been activated .

Techhypermart confirm no stock one. they are back to back basics.

Technosys they got sell AP unit for various of brands. If they confirm now got Y510P, means theirs is AP set

u need a proper official receipt from Lenovo (not from shop) for warranty claims on oversea set.

I plan to buy Y510p and add mSata to install Win 7, is it possible to dual boot Win 7 on Msata with existing Win8 ?

if mSata of course on y510p 

Between the Y510P & Y500, if both are SLI GT750M, which would you get?
Price difference seems to be RM100 only.
Lenovo Y510P 59-389550 (2xGT750) = RM3999
Lenovo Y500 59-378187 (2xGT750m) = RM3899
My concern is the cooling as the Y510p is slimmer & might have difficulty venting the excess heat.
