Southbridge block for MVF, made of a delrin top and a nickel plated brass baseplate, with a finish unlike any other. Mounts to the motherboard using four screws, though I think you only need to use 2? I'm not sure coz I don't own an MVF. tongue.gif

I got permission from the owner to take everything apart, so I got some photos of the internals as well. thumbup.gif

You can actually see the finish quality of the nickel plating. And that the delrin/acetal/POM top has a pattern on it. laugh.gif

Screws are easily removed with hex screw heads. All screws are made of non-magnetic stainless steel, M3/M4 sized.

ps. ignore the orange tint. It's from my curtains. doh.gif

this is true...

Just compare xspc & ek....ek waterblocks quality is seriously good. Each blocks went through quality control man..all is close to perfection! No like xspc, even the waterblock came with minor scratches at the copper. Even the packaging of EK is top notch, right on the spot you can know its good quality shit right there hahaha, xspc came with a brown plain box...with no manual etc shakehead.gif shakehead.gif shakehead.gif

Maybe its not right to compare cpu & gpu waterblocks but basically what you pay is what you get tongue.gif

ps: I aint getting xspc stuff anymore, fall in love with EK already hahaha...if its EK its serious business yo laugh.gif

Bought QDC from niclas, the packaging is awesome , soft foam. The thing it self is really robust. Afterall, designed in USA, made in Korea.

false...ek's nickel plating is one of the worst before and even after the nickel plating issue...heck almost all big waterblock companies produce below par plating.
