trust me in real life i dont promo cyber...sick with this kind of ques... doh.gif

I believe anyone who said Cyber got nothing to eat has probably never been to Cyber. shakehead.gif

As Serin has VP, I've just moved to Cyber recently. No pork? Just the Chinese food alone I found 3 @ Glamac (including one mixed rice shop), 2 @ Prima Avenue 11 (Lok Yuan & Zhia Kitchen), 1 @ Neocyber and everyone of them has different kind of pork. Not to mention the eateries, fast food, cafes, restaurants @ Shaftsbury square, Cottage walk, Neocyber, the Glomac shoplots, CBD, Prima Avenue 5 & 11 and the upcoming D'Pulze. Nothing to eat? LOL! laugh.gif

All the one you mentioned are relatively new..  tongue.gif

True. As I've talk to all the Chinese restaurant's owners and most of them told me they've just opened not more than 8 months ago (except the one in Neo Cyber). tongue.gif

Food nice? Boleh makan?
*
Lok Yuan & Zhia Kitchen (they served beer as well) are pretty good and Good taste @ glamac is pretty decent too. The rest are only tolerable in my opinion. tongue.gif

However, their main target customers are still the working crowd during lunch hour so some of them might not be opening on Sat or Sun. But I truly believe there will be more restaurants if people are willing to stay in Cyber upon the completion of the residential development. rclxms.gif

To all the Cyber house owners, pay more visit to Cyber if you have the time. biggrin.gif

Serin many complains about water & electric.

Building wise, Quality ok?
*
Although the electricity and water were not ready upon handover (supply is there but w/o the meter reading), but they can actually bypass that upon request if there are people wanting to move in. So it wasn't a big problem for me on that issue (and electricity was ready by the end of April for all units).

Quality wise, well, it is Villamas so even I myself didn't expect too much lol! The exterior and the common facilities are pretty ok although there are some minor defects found in the common areas. The workmanship for the units are pretty rough in my opinion but no major defects for most units as I heard from other owners (but quite a lot of minor ones though icon_question.gif ).

In a nutshell, I will stay away from Villamas from now on no matter how much below market price they are offering. I sincerely wish my next door neighbours Cristal turn out to be better. smile.gif

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak hopes the establishment of the Xiamen University Malaysia Campus (XMUMC) in Cyberjaya will help Malaysia become a hub for world-class education.
He said Malaysia, which is ranked 11th in Unesco's list of preferred educational destinations, was committed to improving its ranking.

Thought the university was setting up in Salak Tinggi? So how does that has anything to do with Cyberjaya? hmm.gif

All taikors here...need a bit of advice

With limited bullet, i need to consider quite thoroughly and carefully. The story is I booked SH Schubert about 3 weeks ago. After that only I've realized that there are many nice landed development in Cyberjaya.  sweat.gif  doh.gif

So in order not to regret my decision, need some opinions. This property will be own stay. Need it quick, move in within 6 mths -1 year. So beside the nice neighbourhood, I'm also considering whether the property is value for money & also long term appreciation.

Base on thethe following, I've ruled out Sejati & Areca. Contemplating between the other 4.... and also open to suggestion.... ANY opinions and advises? Thks  notworthy.gif

1) Sejati Residence (Out of budget)
2) Areca Cotempo Homes (Out of consideration coz construction not even started)
3) Mansion Park
4) Trillium
5) Setia Eco Glades
6) Symphony Hills
7) Summerglades
*
Think you made a great decision in choosing Symphony Hills as I think it is easily among the best developments along with Eco Glades and Mirage by the Lake. thumbup.gif

Work, stay, play, study - main four components of developing cyber.
Work - no doubt this component is in good shape now but still can bring it to another higher level prior to launching CCC.

Stay - so many high end residential projects with varies concepts being developed to cater different demands. Obviously the supply is enough for next few years thus it make sense for cyberview not to sell anymore lands to private sectors for residential purpose.

Play - 3 years ago is absolutely zero. But now there is massage centre and karaoke inside SS. D Pulze mall although delay but construction works are nearly completed. Just a matter of time when to open in next few months. Centrus CBD 3 - construction works nearly completed and has started adv to look for tenants in Q1 2015. Another matter of time when to open. IOI resort mall - the size that is bigger than mid valley. Opening in nov and it's only 10mins driving time from cyber! Hey, 10 mins only what... Big factor to boost the "play" factor for prop in cyber. Sky park - opening in 2017. The GEM mall - from the facade looks completed. Don't know what's the developer plan to establish this mall? Maybe a giant? Mini tesco? Dun know but it's a matter of time also for opening.
F&B in cyber? Last time were mamak and limited choices but now too many that ppl being pampered.

Study - LKW, MMU, CUCMS, colleges etc. no need to further explain. SRJK C Union - 60% of the fund collected. Opening in 2017.

Conclusion - nobody knows when can cyber be mature.
But, looking at the progress for last 2 years. More and more ppl changing their perception on cyber. Ppl moving in slowly. Crowd starts to be seen in F&B area. More F&B opening compare 3 years ago.. Just a matter of time to be vibrant and livable. Once all In place, it doesn't make sense for cyber workers not to stay inside and choosing traveling in jam for hours. Besides, the spill over effect from
Puchong, SK and non cyber workers (ppl like us working in KLCC area), 20 mins drive w/o jam via MEX will not hesitate to move in. The potential of cyber is great however how long it takes to be mature - nobody knows but it will be too late to buy once you seen the effect especially landed prop!

I am talking about the cars on the road....just like when you drove to Putrajaya, not many cars on the road compare to when you drove to Puchong or Serdang, there are so many cars and activity...
*
By cars and activities I think you mean damn packed/ congestion/ double parking/ terrible jam everywhere. tongue.gif

I pray hard that Cyber would never turn into such nightmare as a lot of people including me who stayed in Cyber would love to keep enjoying our peace and quiet here. thumbup.gif

I found it it's alr difficult to find parking at shaftbury square nowaday unless you park at multi storey area.
With so many projects being VP soon, it's a matter of time to see double parking, traffic jam etc issue.
Hey, it's Malaysia you know what I meant. Lol
*
Lol, I know. Double parking is not uncommon in Cyber nowadays especially during lunch hour. The traffic during lunch hour and afterwork is also pretty annoying to me nowadays and we all know it's just going to get worse. sweat.gif

Well, enjoy it while it lasts. tongue.gif

true facts: people would rather stay in greater KL regions and travel to cyberjaya rather than to buy there and live there
PLUS people would rather travel there than to rent there...
