Probably because the design is a copy of the N Series, just the color change to black with red accents / red backlit keyboard.

Sorry, didn't order the G750JM. The G56JR is a bit of a risk already trying to sell it in Seremban, but hopefully with more customers deciding to shop local (and stop going to lowyat) that would change. In any case, the problem with Asus is they never explicitly state on the shipping box whether it is IPS or not. We weren't even sure that the G56JR came with IPS screen, nothing was stated on the box or even online (yeah, good luck asking Asus salesman). A bit of a surprise when finding out that even the low spec G56JR came with IPS screen.

Sometimes Asus should just come out and say, IPS screen. End of story. But they don't. Take a look at the description of the panels online.

So does EWV (Enhanced Wide View) mean IPS - I don't know. But if you compare TN and IPS, I would say this. TN may be better in gaming. But IPS makes the unit a very good all rounder.

But after i upgrade to windows 8.1 pro from non-pro,
the nvidia driver is stop working with code 43, try uninstall n install back the nvidia driver, update to latest beta all with no success

what can i do for this?

question is, is it official Asus Malaysia set or the dealers imported the set in by themselves? if the latter, maybe the warranty is only 1 year instead of 2, and Asus Malaysia probably will not have spare parts for warranty claims.

wah seriously? why did they drop so low. play cheap tricks then. So if one opt the option of raid 0 msata. left 1 slot for HDD/SSD. It's either raid with msata or full fledged SSDs. I'd opt for the later.

im confused. whyteaz say there is no msata on the mobo for g750jz. it only have 2 sata3 port and instead they use sata to msata converter to make that 256gb msata raid 0 thats why it there is option for 256 gb raid 0 + 1tb hdd but no 2xmsata + 2xsata3. Since i never had the chance to dissect one myself need input from others. I thought u say u only saw 2xsata3 port and no msata on the g750jz aswell? from your previous post

ah now i get it! lmao. So the ones they bring in malaysia is 2 x sata3 port not the one that they change the sata to msata port =.=" lol. coz i thought u meant like other highend laptops that has usually atleast 2 sata slots and either 1 or 2 dedicated msata slot.. Thanks for the clarification.

Yes, am shocked to see the price of the JZ at only RM 6k.

The only drawback is the TN screen. Wish they had plonked in an IPS there and it would be a best-seller.
