Not for us...so far haven't seen blue or green on our end. Most of our yellow drops are from there.
The friendly zone can also rife with dicks except easier to defend as compared to 05&06.

Could be a bug or our scav stats too low...

Depending on how you view boosting your stats....just that you get more option for mods and crafting materials to roll the gear you want.
It's worth it on my end.
Furthermore you need yellow division tech to craft DZ blueprints. 01-03 division tech spot usually addy been looted when so many players gather around there.

Yeah but it does not gives DZ experience point to hit L50.....

Seeing that I haven't reached 50 yet, I've got a fair few of those lying around doing nothing
I suppose once i get there then they'll be a scarce resource.

I have no idea where they came from though, are they from loot containers or dropped by named bosses and were picked up when i walked past their dead bodies loot piles?

I haven't reached L50 only 40-ish right now. So far I only had 10-12 yellow division tech. They are rifle case like and you can spot one easily at the library right next to DZ key chest. Enemies can drop them as well but it's rare for the yellow one.

if the map shows the area in light purple, the division tech should still be available right?

i seems light to me....dark purple is like barney color

If ayam not mistaken, purple = enemy still available / div tech still available (but no enemy dy), grey = no one is there.

Nope and they are kinda located obscurely and 1 out of 4 case you will find 1 yellow so you can see the mob redditors raising their pitch fork with their incessant bitching rants.
It's better to take note of the mini map when you see triple dot triangle.
