QUOTE(Dominic Toretto @ Aug 15 2016, 09:43 AM) Kingccok : Ghey Fantasy XV Uh... Sakaguchi himself liked and thumbs-up the movie. Hiring him back doesn't change anything.I dunno whats the purpose of this moivie. I really wish I can suggest they hire back Hinorobu Sakaguchi and save Final Fantasy franchise back, though hiring him back is like begging Kojima Production to work with Konami again. |

QUOTE(shikimori @ Sep 15 2016, 05:27 AM) any chance the graphic and framerate will be better on ps4 pro ? There will be a PS4 Pro mode, so safe to assume that yes the Pro patch will make the game look and play better. How much better though, that's entirely unknown.Might consider getting it if thats the case |

QUOTE(danger46 @ Oct 7 2016, 03:36 PM) Yes this is the final build of the game excluding the Day1 Patch and PS4 Pro patch.Frametimes so much more stable, framerates seem to hold a mostly steady 30fps, there's a lot less shimmering, foliage has been increased, shadow quality has been improved. The delay is definitely the right choice. Terrain comparison: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Not a HUGE difference, but significant enough that this is closer to the original FFXV vision. Eager to see what the PS4 pro mode can do. Cidney comparison: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Protip: Open images in separate tabs to view before after comparison. Lol... Tabata is a liar. The "pro" improvements aside from the day 1 patch is already in the works.

QUOTE(limchee @ Oct 26 2016, 09:48 AM) im considering to get my first ps4 just because of FFXV Get the Pro, not because you don't have a 4k TV, but rather the price difference between the Luna edition and the Pro isn't that significant.wondering should I get the FFXV Luna Edition PS4 bundle or get PS4 Pro instead... yeah but I do not have a 4K display though. QUOTE(ifourtos @ Oct 26 2016, 12:39 PM) ps4 pro work different on 1080 tv Stop spreading wrong info please.double frame rate in most case higher sampling personally, ps4 pro work best with 1080 tv not 4k 4k high setting or 1080p ultra setting i choose ultra "Double framerate in most cases" is entirely hyperbole. There's not been a single NEW title that is confirmed to have "double" the framerates on pro mode vs normal PS4 mode. "Higher sampling" isn't even a term btw. |

QUOTE(ifourtos @ Oct 26 2016, 04:40 PM) 1st. Statement from SONY Yes, quote the entire internet.1st Badge of Official PS4 Pro-Ready Game and its improvement on 1080p TITANFALL 2 Producer Drew McCoy explained in an interview that the PS4 Pro version of Titanfall 2 will not run in native 4K. However, the console's extra power should help the game stick closer to its 60FPS target. NBA 2K17 PS4 Pro with a 4K display: Native 4K resolution running at 60 FPS with HDR support. Paragon PS4 Pro with a 1080p display: Enhanced visual effects, procedural ground cover, higher scene complexity, greater texture fidelity, and dynamic reflections. The Witness PS4 Pro with a 4K display: 1440p resolution or possibly higher upscaled to 4K with a consistent 60 FPS. Text, menus, and other UI will be set at native 4K. PS4 Pro with a 1080p display: 1080p resolution instead of 900p and increased antialiasing quality from 2x to 4x MSAA, while keeping a solid 60 FPS. Killing Floor 2 PS4 Pro with a 4K display: 1800p checkboard rendering on 4K TV (3200x1800) optimized for 4K TVs. PS4 Pro with a 1080p display: Increased framerate and supersampling, as well as increased texture resolutions (which may also be present at 4K). PS4 Pro Games with Unconfirmed Details Battlefield 1 Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Days Gone Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Dishonored 2 Farpoint (PlayStation VR) FIFA 17 Final Fantasy XV For Honor Ghost Recon: Wildlands Horizon: Zero Dawn Infamous: First Light Killing Floor 2 The Last of Us: Remastered Mass Effect: Andromeda Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 Rise of the Tomb Raider Skyrim: Special Edition Spider-Man Steep Titanfall 2 Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Watch Dogs 2 PS4 PRO = PS4 IN CROSSFIRE MODE Re-read your comment please: QUOTE(ifourtos @ Oct 26 2016, 12:39 PM) ps4 pro work different on 1080 tv Let's go 1 by 1 shall we?double frame rate in most case higher sampling personally, ps4 pro work best with 1080 tv not 4k 4k high setting or 1080p ultra setting i choose ultra Titanfall 2 The game is already built to be targeting 60fps on the normal PS4 and on the PS4 pro. Keyword here is TARGET. Relating to your comment, this is not "double frame rate in most cases". NBA 2k17 This is the only instance where a game is targeting 60fps at 4k on the PS4 pro. The normal PS4 is also targeting 60fps, but at 1080p. Again, nothing about "double the frame rate in most cases" here. Paragon Yes, better visuals on the PS4 pro. But uhm unless you didn't know, the game already targets 60fps on the normal PS4. Epic games has NOT said anything (or even showed anything) that the PS4 pro mode will give it "double the frame rate in most cases". The Witness Game is already in 60fps lol. I won't even bother explaining. Killing Floor 2 The latest build as shown by DF confirms the game is running at 40-55fps. Where is "double the frame rate in most cases" here? Tripwire hasn't even fixed the PC version btw. Now, as for your quoted statement by Sony; I don't know what you're trying to quote, they said nothing about "double the frame rate in most cases". Where are you even getting that from? They said HIGHER and more STABLE framerates, they never said DOUBLE. Your "double the frame rate in most cases" comment is the single biggest misconception about the PS4 pro going around, not just by you but by many others. Stop this blind leading the blind herd nonsense already. The PS4 pro will no doubt bring extra performance, but simply saying "double the framerate" is illogical to begin with. QUOTE(ifourtos @ Oct 26 2016, 05:30 PM) Alright. I must admit, i was "overly" "quote" about the framerate increament. Err no one is refuting the PS4 Pro coexisting with the normal PS4 nor it has 2x the GPU power of the normal PS4. That's not even the point of the discussion. But whats going to support my claim? = PS4 will coexist with PS4 Pro = PS4 Pro is physically 2x GPU horse power than PS4 More and more upcoming game will have to make sure : 1. Run at least 30FPS, and still look good on PS4 2. with PS4 PRO design in mind, they will unlock 60FPS @ same or better image quality IF RESOLUTION STILL MAINTAIN at 1080P Reason = Unlock FPS is the easiest way to see MOST GRAPHICAL IMPROVEMENT. 1st BATCH of patch which is launch BEFORE PS4 PRO Dude, what about 6 months later? 1 year later?? 1. No, there is no "must" for a game to run at least 30fps minimum. A game must target 30fps. 2 different things, 2 different meanings. There is a very grey area here however. 2. That's what EVERYONE said when the PS4 launched. 1080p60 for everyone! Don't remember? Go watch the 2013 unveiling of the PS4 again and its launch titles. Here we are 3 years later, how many games are there in 1080p60 and how many of them has been downgraded post reveal? In FFXV's case, it's even more hilarious. Guess what? The PS4 is already entirely capable of hitting 1080p60. Majority of games don't do it, because image quality > framerate. Graphic whores > gameplay fanatics. So why do you think the PS4 pro will instantly give all games 1080p60? It's the same every generation. Why do you think that "double the framerate in most cases" is actually blank pointless assumption? |

QUOTE(drunkonpiss @ Oct 26 2016, 05:57 PM) ^^Stay on topic guys. This is the FF XV thread. There will be a DLC pack for more VR missions later on, but it won't be part of the season pass.Anyway, does FF XV fully support VR or will it only be just one chapter like Rise of the Tomb Raider? http://www.siliconera.com/2016/08/26/final...ed-season-pass/ |

All versions have English and Japanese VOs. You don't have to specifically pick any.

"Lightweight" Mode vs High Quality Mode
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « PLEASE open images in new tab and switch back and forth. Lightweight mode is basically a mode with uncapped framerate, which is suppose to target 60fps. It is however, not even remotely close to 50 and struggles to even stay at 40+, much less to say 60. HQ mode is 30fps capped, but has TAA, higher quality AF, and higher res for shadows. This post has been edited by SSJBen: Nov 11 2016, 04:28 PM |

OG PS4 vs PS4 Pro - HQ Mode
*PS4 Pro mode is downscaled to 1080p. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Your eyes aren't playing tricks. The difference is REAL. The game will look even better this coming December on the PS4 Pro. So yes, Sony has sold you 3 consoles just to play 1 game. Lol. |

QUOTE(Dominic Toretto @ Nov 11 2016, 04:44 PM) Thnxx for the info Sony don't own Square Enix. But if I'm Sony, I will make it exclusive for PS4 Pro only. Coz people will not only have to buy the new PS4 PRO console, they also have to buy the 4k Sony Bravia TV. 2 profit at 1 time. Making this a PS4 Pro exclusive goes against everything they've said; compatibility. Sony's 4K TVs are subpar, except for the Z9D (of which isn't even that good for games). People shouldn't buy any of their 4k TVs from this year. At the end, no profit but lots of flaming. |

QUOTE(bluraypirate @ Nov 12 2016, 01:09 PM) Anyone already pre order this game? Actually XV is the only game that is RM259 SRP. Why? To hold the balls of everyone because there is only ONE distro bringing this game in. So it's a simple decision to monopolize and squeeze as much money out of people. Since it's an FF title, it'll sell regardless.Where can i get the best deal ? Majority which i found between rm240-260......a bit expensive IMO.... I swear last year new ps4 games below rm200.....damn our state economy today..... |

Pro vs PS4 vs Xbone
Having played the demo a little yesterday, the HQ mode in Pro does indeed look very good. However there is an issue, the framepacing is quite all over the place. Not as bad as it was in the "platinum demo", but I'd say it's akin to Bloodborne erratic jumps. The normal PS4 mode performs the best though, 30fps, very solid. Still some drops here and there, but not too bad overall. |
