The SenQ Nexus 7C RM699 in my area out of stocks already. Luckily, I manage to get a whole new set for RM699 before it goes out of stock LOL.

hey guys.

need suggestions from you:
I bought asus smart 10 a few months ago for my wife.
The battery kinda sucks, and it is getting too slow these days, flipping screen can have shutter-lag.. mainly used for reading TheEdge.
The screen is also not fantastic, abi

Any 10inch recommendation for a much better battery life and non-lag tablet? Budget not an issue, only need the Wifi-type.

Thank you!!

Apple iPad Air, only rm1599 for 16GB Wifi version.

If you want Android, get the Sony Xperia Tablet Z. It's currently on a promotion by Sony Malaysia. RM1399, free screen protector and casing.

Thanks for the info.
My wife made the switch from apple to android because it is easy to drag videos from pc to android, hassle free.
If we want to watch mp4s, do we still need to go through itunes or still need to convert into
their readable format? Quite sick of doing that, so thats why I choose android these days haha..

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z stats looks quite ok leh, but its sim-card tablet, I kinda looking at wifi tabs only.
Maybe I should wait for nexus 10?

Nope. Sony Xperia Tablet Z comes in two categories.

Xperia Tablet Z WiFi only (RM1399) = Not a sim-card tablet

Xperia Tablet Z LTE (RM1999) = Sim-card tablet

Since you're only looking for WiFi tablets only, you can choose the Sony Xperia Tablet Z Wifi version. Sony Xperia Tablet Z is water-proof and dust-proof as well. And the specifications are similar to that of New Nexus 7 (2013), which is pretty smooth, no lag, beautiful display.

For iOS, still need convert, and use iTunes to synchronize and transfer videos or other files ..

I kinda hoping the next gen to be out as soon as they can.
I did a comparison via gsmarena and the current gen chipset is only dual core.
Just afraid it is as lag as the current asus tab smart 10. Perhaps the 1gb ram in
asus is too little for apps?

Thanks.

Current gen nexus 10
Exynos 5250
Dual-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A15
Mali-T604

2 GB RAM

asus smart 10
Nvidia Tegra 3 T33
Quad-core 1.2 GHz
ULP GeForce
1GB Ram

Hahahahaha bro. Now is year 2014. brows.gif

Why still want to stick with Cortex Processor and Mali GPU Graphic Processing Unit...Nowadays, most high end smart phones and tablets use Krait processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset...and GPU use mostly Adreno GPU...

I ever tried using Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core, the quad core is just a marketing gimmick, damn that Nvidia Tegra 3 lags like hell... rclxub.gif
