1. PAY AS MUCH AS U CAN, not just "more than the minimum required"
2. BUY WHAT U NEED, NOT WHAT U WANT

Is it that hard to comprehend?

Obviously yes, it is that hard to comprehend for him

Just cut the credit card in half, and use cash for everything until it is fully paid. If you have the determination, you can do it

The problem that he might be facing is uncontrollable short term, high interest debt.

That outstanding needs to bring down to certain level first.

Step 1 - cut card in half
Step 2 - sell off all your gaming notebook and pay the debt. rolleyes.gif
Step 3 - only spend money on food, transportation and rental. Buy nothing else.
Step 4 - pay off your card loan with every single sen you have.
Step 5 - finish pay up. you get financial freedom. Congratulations! rclxms.gif

It's that simple... really.

But you will be surprised a lot of people do not have the willpower to go through the step above, until they need to declare bankruptcy or AKPK.

The more excuses you make, the bigger hole you dig for yourself.

Later bankrupt, GF run away, no money to eat, cannot get good job (bankruptcy), bills mounting, then jump from KLCC... laugh.gif

Your choice...

now ur blaming cimb for giving u a very high limit, when u should be blaming urself for not having self control.

we all know the answer to ur dilemma, do u still need us to voice it up to you?

1.increase monthly payment
2. reduce spending
3. self control and money management
4. akpk
5. negotiate with bank for more affordable interest rate
