I got a 17inch CMV. regarding the box and packaging, i must say it is quite easy for something sharp to simply poke through the thin box...the monitor is being held in place by two blocks of polystyrene foam at the sides. Panel is totally unprotected...no plastic sheet, metal sheet, rubber sheet whatever...


luckily i get mine from retail shop. can check "kau kau" before i buy.
