I'm going to Bali next week with 4 adult. Not sure whether I should book the taxi from airport for day tour package for 3 days or just take anywhere else. Mind to share some advice or pls advice any of available tourist guide.

- ask for your hotel shutter services, if let say to kuta they quote for 100k is reasonable. it is a bit far to go outside of the airport to catch the bluebird taxi and also hard for you to differentiate it for the 1st time for bali taxi and also bluebird taxi as the color is the same. at inside the airport they will try to mark up for the price
-i've been charged for 350k for 12 hours of supir service for a day trip. use it wisely. if you wanna go for any sightseeing like kintamani, luwak coffee, jimbaran , batik factory, paint factory and etc, search for the place to go. for eg. kintamani, the food is like a dog shit. it cost me 100k for buffet and i cant even eat it. for jimbaran, it cost me 700k eat for 2. the food is nice, same as per malaysian taste but you can get it for far less as i ordered only 1/2kg of squids, 1/2kg white fish, 1 ketam which is only 1/2kg and 1/2kg medium prawn. it was totally expensive. do your research 1st on where you wanna go

Bali: 2013.5 Ayana Resort & Spa(Part 1)

In fact, this is my first time to Bali.,

After the research, I decided to stay in two hotels. The reasons I chose here is because of the Rock Bar which it was awarded the best bar in 2011 and 2012! Most importantly, hotel guest don't have to queue for ages to get in the cable car which send us to the Rock Bar, you can also have the priority to choose the best spots in Rock Bar! During the two days, I went there around 4pm, there were alrealy lots of people who weren't residents of the hotel forming a long queue. I was so lucky that I didn't have to waste time waiting.

I could just go to the cable car and give my room number!!

It is only just pass 4 o' clock. There were already so many people. Can you see the wooden path leads to the middle of the sea? That is where you can have a romantic dinner and it costs 240USD !!

The man with an orange top at the top is the DJ of Rock Bar.

Everyone has a bottle of bear or cocktail

Although the portion of the food is quite small, it is all very delicous!! The cocktail is very good too!

The light on the left side is menu. isn't it special?

Looking at the sunset, nothing can be more beautiful than this.

Drinking the cocktail, listening to the waves, and enjoying the breeze.

This is what life is about!

See more of my my travel stories to Ayana below, this hotel is just too beautiful!

I've stayed at favehotel, which is right next to tune hotel hotel which is also right next to kuta angel. Kuta angel's rate is a bit higher than favehotel because it claimed that it's a luxurious hotel, deco is quite nice from outside tho. For me favehotel is a very decent budget hotel with chic and bright pink design, it's about 5 to 10 minutes walk to Kuta beach but you will be passing by a lot of shops to Kuta beach so you don't feel the beach was that far. Not sure about Samsara Inn though.

Eventhough Kuta is a very happening place but I personally like Legian beach more cuz a lot of bar with live bands at the beach! Sitting on a beach bean bag, drinking Bintang and listening to the band beneath the stars is so relaxing! Haha. Kinda regretted staying at Legian for a night and then to Kuta.

P/s
Kuta beach is full of people especially during the sunset! Almost kinda hard to find a spot for us to sit on the sand to enjoy the view!

At tune hotel legian! Only less than 5 minutes walk to the beach =) it was our first night at bali and we arrived about 9pm so we didn't want to spend too much on accomodation during the first night. Turns out it was more than what I expected!

Hi All,

We are planning a 4 adults trip to Bali for 5D4N, have not decided on the dates but want ask how much is the Air Asia / Malindo flight ticket price is consider cheap? RM600? RM400? From there, we will plan the dates.

I noticed most of the people stay in 2 hotels... Can recommend some nice experience hotels?

We are considering Holiday Inn Express in Kuta (if it matter at all) and Green Field (paddy field experience). Open to suggestion, any recommended hotel for no more than RM300 per night?

600 consider expensive already o.. see if you can get 400, then its cheap biggrin.gif

u can plan 2 nights kuta, 2 nights ubud. then can stay different area. Kuta more happening and night life, ubud more kampung and peaceful feel.. thats what information i gathered from the thread laugh.gif i'll be going this friday.
