thank you so much. it would be a good thing to prepare with travel insurance if anything happened *touchwood*

I was planning on getting travel insurance too! I was doing some research and I think I'm too late! I don't think we are eligible anymore at this stage as they've already put up SOS alert when I read through the policy. Just like your new medical card wouldn't cover your existing illness which is the same in this case sad.gif

On second thought, i'm planning to cancel the trip. i don't want to suffer/hassle if anything happens there.

I know the locals/driver will say that everything will be alright, well.. I rather trust my instinct. duit bole cari, so no harm burn the tickets.

I bet the price will be up sky high due to this matter, or airasia gave them a choice to fly for free from Surabaya.

Thank you for sharing the useful infos/links. thumbsup.gif

TBH, I trust more on my local news (TV3, Astro News, Hitz FM etc etc). Everyday they will update the status about Bali and the level of dangers.

Hope by mid-end December things will be alright.

Bro, trust me. Take it from someone who is there for the entire duration. I should be back on malaysian soil now.
While we were there the last couple of days, these are the few link and site that is "real". Tv3 and even local news all shows something that happened 48hours ago. Lava and smoke that wasnt there anymore.
On the ground, seminyak/canggu(stayed here 6 days) and kuta, everyone just selamba aje... Relek je. Tourist still banyak giler and act like pricks. Specially the aussies and mainland china peeps.
But it did rained the whole time. Which kinda sucks.
