just beware some supir/drivers are in the same league with those cutthroat restaurant, they got some commission back from those restaurants

usual trick will be:
"I bring you to this nice restaurant, good food, good view!  also I can get free meal too! "
So while you're thinking helping him getting a free meal, and him helping you getting a good deal?  most likely he's getting a commission while you're getting slaughtered by the restaurant.

when you request the driver bring you to a restaurant you've selected, if he response by that restaurant also close down, today not open, or any sorts of excuse not to bring you there while recommending another restaurant, be extra alert! he's waiting for you to stick out your neck for slaughtering

at Jimbaran I'll highly recommend Lia Cafe, reasonably price and won't chop chop you like other establishments
for ribs, no one can beat Naughty Nuri in Ubud
For babi guling, for me the best is Ibu Oka in Ubud as well, go to their 2nd restaurant which is at outskirt Ubud, which is not that crowded & hot

1. Possible to get a local sim card at airport? i'll be arriving at 10.30pm, kinda worry that no shops will be open
2. and what's the rate of MYR to IDR in klang valley nowadays? currently most of my time is based on alor setar and here really do have very limited choices on the exchange rates...
3. anyone tried the bluebird taxi app in bali? usable with msian credit cards?

I'm going to Bali on 28-31Aug for my honeymoon.

Wanna ask, is it worth to spend whole day at Bali Safari & Marine Park?

My plan is to stay at Kuta for the 1st night & Seminyak for the 2nd and 3rd. Day 2 - barong dance, visiting temple/explore bali, sunset @ tanah lot, dinner @ Jimbaran. Day 3 - Bali Safari & elephant ride!
