i think they are several brands for the d70 battery grip, like jenis, hoodman
i bought my canon 350d from this guy. he brings it back from china distributer. so far all the buttons on my battery grip still working after 4k of shots. maybe u can contact him http://www.lelong.com.my/Auc/List/2006-05DSale3012774.htm |

just went to c a third party bettery grip sold by foto selangor. the first look was, damn dirty n damn dusty
until now i only saw a recognised battery grip for D70s. i think the brand name is Hahnell or something like that. saw it in the england photography book. dunno malaysia got or not This post has been edited by cfyung85: May 3 2006, 04:50 PM |

If u thought about adding a vertical grip, you should've opt for 350D in the 1st place, or Fujifilm S3 Pro if you prefer Nikon lenses.

Yeah the S3 Pro is a totally awesome camera! The integral vertical grip is only so-so tho - should have added in some command dials to make it more complete. I think the D70 is large and heavy enough (and the D50 too) to be used without a vertical grip - the weight balance only becomes a problem if you have an SB800 with 5 batteries attached to the flash hotshoe for prolonged durations ...
