Hi everyone. Thanks for reading this.

I need help on how to find a software that can lock folder like "Folder Lock" software.

Im already using free softwares like "Folder Lock" and "Protected Folder" but those software only can lock using one password.

What I need is a software that give us option to lock every folder with different password.

For example, i have a desktop acting like a server and im creating 10 folders (Personal, Work, Photos, Music, etc etc). And i can set different password for each folder so everytime i open a folder, a prompt to ask the password appears.

Hope u guys understand what i mean and thanks for your help.

Thanks in advance. thumbup.gif

Thanks. Just now try to install it, but it lock every files inside the folder, and have to unlock one by one if want to open.

Looks ok because can set different password but the execution not so convenient because around 10 people will access this desktop server biggrin.gif

Thanks anyway dude for the help notworthy.gif

So you need to create permission to each folder by dept or user lo. That's will be easy way rather than use software.

So, you don't have any experience before? Technically, i use this way to configure sharing folder in server.

I've no experience at all. Only know how to share folder for everyone.

Basically my plan is like this,

I have a desktop using windows 7, not windows server 2000. This desktop is to use as a shared folder server.
For example, I created 5 folders at desktop (say Stock, Finance, HR, Admin & Technical)

So only specific people can access the folder. Let say folder 'Finance' is only accesible by finance staff, so on so forth.

So I've tried to create multiple user account in this desktop, and set different password for each user, and then i log on all the users at one time and create a folder for each logon to set the permission.

errk i dont know whether u understand or not rclxub.gif biggrin.gif

Ok. Understood.

So, the PC Win7 is standalone right?

Right click at the Folder Dept then go to Share With. Select Specific people. You can add any name at folder you want to share. After that choose access Read/Write. Finish, click Share.

Thanks so much bro syakirin, u save my day notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Only one problem I found out. Once I go to Network from another pc and access the PC Name say "Shared Server" then it prompt a username and pass. So when I key in username and password for Finance account, i cannot re-login another account. How to 'logout' from the current logon?

You can actually try "TrueCrypt". It is one of the best softwares available for encryption. It is the best one available out there. Its free.
