QUOTE(nxfx @ May 2 2006, 11:35 AM) I'm wondering which one has better chances of getting an interview. Resume through email or normal mail and if you are an employer which one you prefer? QUOTE(aichiban @ May 2 2006, 04:30 PM) send, then call the call part is essential Aichiban's suggestion is correct. I seconded that opinion. You have no way to know whether your mail (snail and e-mail) are getting to them. It might be lost. The best way is if you know someone in that company, ask for help from that person to forward your resume to their HR department. It is possible to get reliable e-mail transfer through their internal e-mail system. Mail do get lost regularly. THe best way to get interview is if you know who is the hiring manager and you can be introduce to that person via your social networking. QUOTE(Suet @ May 4 2006, 07:22 PM) Right after I tap the SEND EMAIL button, I start to dial the number. Just tell them that you have just sent your resume, and do sound interested so they'd give ample feedback. Suet, IMHO, you should call one day later. Then, you can confirm on the phone that they had received your resume. If not, they may not call you back eventhough they did not receive your resume later. Dreamer
