Actually Locked Bootloader not working for AOKP, AOSP or CM is because of modified/change of kernel not the ROM itself..

Locked Bootloader not support modified kernel, that the reason why leak 4.2.2 stock ROM is not working as well due to doomlord had modified the kernel to make it work for everyone, or else I believe it will only work for developer set only.

Try backing it up again.

right.. previous is much easier.. same as gingerbread style.. ICS is same as 4.2.2.. no SS option in power menu.. need combination of that 2 keys to work out..
OTA cant get it from my XZL.. but PC companion and SUS can get.. im using SUS.. coz i can make my own FTF after that..

3. Performance does really see significant smooth in app drawer and UI.

80% transparent in homescreen.. 100% alike with app drawer. for my 20 minutes playing.. feel slightly smooth than previous firmware.. i like the toggles parts.. which i can set auto rotate, auto sync, Stamina directly..

Yes u will lost root...AfAiK only samsung have the ability to preserve root by flashing the rom using mobile odin pro...

You will lose root,unless you update using OTA . DooMLord has already released a new toolkit to root the 4.2 update so you don't have to worry.

BTW,just updated my XZL to 4.2. It is definitely smoother than before. The multitasking UI is also quite nice. A shame though that the quick settings panel is still styled after the one in 4.1 and not like the one in AOSP 4.2.

AFAIK there's no need to wipe the phone to root it using this new method.

How long is the sot?

Wifi doesn't consume much battery even u on 24 hours. But seems awake by some apps in background such as account sync. Should got at least 3-4 hours sot in z,zl in single charge with 3G on.

How can I disable those startup apps? I'm rooted also on monxdified 307 Rom
