QUOTE(uzary @ Jun 25 2013, 03:49 PM) so the flow are flash ftf, root with doomloard, and install recovery/dual recovery. btw are there any smaller dpi softkey bar for this .423 yet? or docomo toggle? Not yet, and no need DoCoMo as now can customize like DoCoMo, can put up to 10 toggles, changeable to the one you like, you can even not putting Setting at there. As for smaller navigation key, don't have yet, I not plan to change already, I find it look nicer with default one and no alignment issue at app drawer outline when insert to charging dock. QUOTE(jeff10012003 @ Jun 25 2013, 04:13 PM) XDA forum. Actually no need, just flash the [NUT] Dual Receovery CWM/TWRP and it will boot to CWM let you flash the ROM.when i simply flash the ftf, it would overwrite the command to enter xzdualrecovery. so i have to flash back nut 307 ftf, then i flash the 423 zip from dual recovery, then i flash the ftf, giving it funnctional bootup. now already completed my update, now attempting to update superSU root without using doomlord method. see whether it will work or not. *update* it failed. now attempting doomlord root. Then use Doomlord exploit root, it is superb easier and 100% working. This post has been edited by Andrewtst: Jun 25 2013, 04:19 PM |

QUOTE(jeff10012003 @ Jun 25 2013, 04:22 PM) that's the thing, how to flash dual recovery when I cannot even access the normal recovery? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2261606some more fun industries url seems not responding, i tried downloading nut's flash file and it gives network error.. WINDOWS: How to install using the installer: download lockeddualrecovery2.4-RELEASE.windows.zip unpack at C:\ or somewhere you will remember! navigate to the resulting directory and look for If you have SuperUser installed on your phone: superuser.bat If you have SuperSu installed on your phone: supersu.bat Run the file you need to install, follow instructions. Your phone WILL reboot when installation has completed and it will go into the default recovery for the first boot. |

QUOTE(jeff10012003 @ Jun 25 2013, 04:32 PM) after I flashed the ftf, the phone boot only to the sony logo, then it goes blank, pressing up and down like our usual booting for dual recovery does not give me access.. Same as mine also, [NUT] make something wrong on it. But I choose re-install dual recovery, it working also and less step.it happened like this guy said.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...998&postcount=3 and i proceed to follow this instruction which succeeded.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...743&postcount=7 |

QUOTE(droidtrix @ Jun 25 2013, 05:32 PM) Seems like SONY are going very aggressively announcing their new model this year, hopefully they do the same on software update aggressively so they will at par with Samsung.. Yaya, but at least now I am happy with Sony.Sony is the 2nd company having 4.2.2 for phone now. |

QUOTE(jeff10012003 @ Jun 25 2013, 05:58 PM) my friend using s4 boasted about receiving early 4.2.2 Hahaha!then I showed my phone just now he gone silence. QUOTE(uzary @ Jun 25 2013, 06:17 PM) Haiya, dont leave us.. A lot pro here, don't worried. btw, when at first the rumors pops up about sony using s800 proc, i was skeptical, i doubt sony will use any latest proc, at best s600 as sony always 1 gen behind.. but reality stated otherwise. sony really aiming for the top, n this togari is the beginning. i am proud of being sony fan, but in the same kinda regret if sony put s800 into a rebrand xperia z together with triluminous display. anyway, any pricing announced yet? By the way, also depends on pocket, if no money also cannot buy, hehe. This time Sony really jump on boat! Release the most newer and highest spec. Actually I got 2 friends excited and plan to buy the Sony Xperia Z Ultra BUT ................. after they notice NO LED FLASH LIGHT both confirm not going to buy it anymore.
Dunno what Sony thinking, LED flash light is just a small piece thing, but they decide not include it! People not only use LED flash light for camera, but often use it as TORCH LIGHT. |

QUOTE(nasiayam @ Jun 26 2013, 10:35 AM) exactly how I feel, wouldn't mind sacrificing a bit of the thickness for the led and bigger battery, since it's already a big device Ya, that is foolish lo, Z Ultra sure is not a mainstream device, they take out the LED Flash is damn stupid! As example, Sony immediate lost 2 potential customer.no matter how perfect the phone, the manufacturer will always do something foolish to cut the points |
