Bugs ? Are u sure ? I used it since Omega Cat 4.1 and they never give me any bugs. Did u install it correctly ?

OMEGA is pretty good , but if you installed it in the wrong way

After you have installed the driver , you would get a BLue screen of death ..you would need to delete it , delete ATI Drivers and re-install everything back]

Get OMEGA Drivers and overclock a little bit..You might see extra 10-12fps..

BSOD ? i never get any of those. Maybe u need to use Driver Cleaner Pro before installing any new drivers. Maybe there's some conflict with leftover files from previous drivers.

Maybe the BIOS is locked to prevent overclocking. You might want to try getting an unlocked one for your card... or a BIOS that is compatible with yours.

Try www.techpowerup.com. They have an extensive BIOS selection there... Unless you know what you are doing, do not just simply get a BIOS and flash to your heart's desire as you might end up with a huge paperweight.

Three main programs that you will need is a BIOS editor, a BIOS tester and the flasher. The programs I recommend are RaBIT, Rambios and Atiflash, respectively.

You must get the BIOS that uses the same type of memory that your existing card uses. And before you flash anything, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you test out the BIOS using Rambios. If you end up with corruption, that BIOS is not suitable for your card.

You should also have a backup PCI video card to boot your PC and reflash in case any problems result.

Use a program named ATI Tray Tools to dump your video card BIOS, then use RaBIT to inspect it.

ATI flash is the most simple I think because flash from floppy. Just dl rom-flash bootdisk from www.bootdisk.com to replace startup disk, its much faster.

My Power Color x1300 is a good Overclocking GC .. Yeah ... Luckily i get PowerColor ... Easy to OC .. No Locking also ... using ATI tool
Anyway , if you did not have your card OC from stock core 450MHz to 702MHz and Stock Mem 500MHz to 600MHz , the potential is of this GC not yet purely shown ... of course CM CoolViva Heatsink is needed... Haha ....

You can OC the Core to 650MHz with proper cooling and RAM ... ah ... hard to OC ... Can try to reach 900MHz and step by step up the line ...

currently got HIS X1600 pro Iceq for my 2nd rig.. don try yet to unlock . default setting is 500/800

The problem is...
My GC bios has locked it's overclocking potential...
