So apparently they extended the PVP tournament for 7 more days. 7 more days of grinding through PVP. Blergh.

Kinda wasted my pvp energy. Sigh.. Playdumb

What an absolute terrible joke, 20 mins before the season ends and while we have been burning thru our Challenge Points they extend the season by a week, damn you PD, seriously that is absolutely disgusting , pissed off doesn' even begin to describe how im feeling

Yea, extending it is fine.... but surely by now they know that PvPers are most active in the final 24hours of the season. They should have done this 24hours ago.

Good thing I didn't burn any resources or take leave to PvP grind >_>

Another Adamantium finish, that makes it two in a row!

Lvl 110, achieved using Captain America (mostly ww2 bruiser, using discus e-iso. some testing of tactician with discus e-iso too, but bruiser seemed to be generally better) and blaster modern Thor for the entire season on attack and defense. Agent spent 90% of the season in PvP scrapper alt (the other 10% was to test out the Tactician PvP alt that went on sale not too long ago).

Didn't grind hard or anything like that. Just aimed for 5 wins everyday to get 5CP and the daily PVP spin for most of the season. That alone got me to 1750 rating and adamantium about a week before the season was supposed to end. Three days before the season was supposed to end I played more to try to push my rating up to 1850 or more. Got to 1900 a few times, but each time afk losses would push me back down to 1750 range. Season got extended a week, so I continued 5 wins a day and maintained 1750 or higher without any stress. This morning i woke up and logged in the final hour before season end to see -100 rating to leave me at low 1700s. Played 10 games (using 1 5x Challenge) and won 9 with 1 loss to push me up to 1810, which stayed until the season ended. No pressure or worries

Main things I noticed this season:
1) Mystic is so good. I tried taking it out a few times, but each time the advantage felt too good to lose. Now with the nerf maybe it's a bit less strong than before since more heroes can remove it, but it's still a big advantage to have. Not sure how anyone can play without Scroll of Angolob and Mystic, both seem too good to not use (for me).
2) My AFK record this season was probably something like 20-30% win rate on afk. Losing is pretty normal on afk, especially when I am doing 2 things which are risky:
- Using a blaster on AFK. And it's Thor, who has so-so AI.
- Using a bruiser protector, which can be risky since an attacker using a blaster is basically going to munch him for food. That's why I swapped to Tactician ww2 cap a few times, but each time I did my win-rate on afk showed no big improvement.
3) Cheaters everywhere. When I go on attack I can say 8/10 of my opponents look very dubious. Super weak stats, some with super weak teams even (armory items from 3-4 seasons ago, 15-20 PVP heroes). Basically 1 shield throw from captain america can take out 60-80% of their entire teams HP. Thor doing a summon thunder is a 1HKO for their entire team, unless 1 of them survives with a few hp. But they're somewhere in Adamantium or high Vibranium. Similarly when I lose on AFK, a lot of the losses are to guys with similarly weak stats. Even if they grind like mad, they should be losing on afk badly enough to end up in lower leagues. How do they end up in Adamantium or above 1500 rating?!?! Cheating is the only thing I can think of that makes sense.
