time moving so fast.
 Next rider show will be reveal next month.. huh~His ears and his suit got rounds like disk thing on his joints. Yellow colors as base. His face look a lot like KR Eternal and Ironman.. appearance similar like Fourze. This is sketch based on those people description saw the new rider. The suit designer must have really hated the color blue.
When was the last time the lead rider had blue base form? Blade and Hibiki and that was it. |

just watched kamen rider latest movie with the collaboration of Wizard and Fourze.
It's quite alright compared with the previous movies. As for Fourze's story which takes place after five years, can Kengo and Yuki become a scientist and an astronaut that fast? By assuming they graduated at the age of 17 same like us, five years later means they're only 22. Being a teacher and a journalist is quite possible but a scientist and astronaut is quite impossible.... |

I lost interested with Wizard after Phoenix die.

A new fresh phantom is about to be born (based on the jikai yokoku). And the bicycle is not actually a joke but still, the plot is kind of a filler for quite a time... and suddenly it accelerates. |

There a rumor about new rider start on October and Wizard as usual end on August. Probably something on September... Not sure this confirmed, according to japanese people, full Wizard movie poster don't have Gaimu in it like previous movie poster include cameo riders... Introducing new rider for the next installment in the movies is a good idea but they need to get it right to sync it with the story.
Fourze in OOO's movie and Wizard in Fourze's movie just suck really bad. They came out of nowhere. |

so now i either think Fueki aka white whip-zard or wiseman actually is a human being... i mean he might be possible using wizard skill to disguise as wiseman... or he actually is a wizard phantom as if his belt is a sharp finger design... and red colour.
as for movie gold wizard i more like thinking totally no relate with main plot. as for koyomi, either Fueki want restore koyomi into human being or just make koyomi a vessel of phantom unimited mana yada yada some sort like that big bad arse father to daughter. |

Belt is called Sengoku Driver. Lock Seed is collectable item looks like fruits to be lock in Sengoku Driver. Rider is fruits motif + various armor like samurai, ninja, medieval style. So yeah multiple rider confirmed

I find the armor quite nice.
It just that they add in some fruit design and pattern that make us feel weird. I believe people will start loving it if the story line is good. The girl actor looks nice.. |

The samurai/sengoku theme is really awesome but wtf mixing up with the buah-buahan thingy??
I know Kamen Rider is a kid’s show (and CM to sell lot of toys) but they should make things that look cool and awesome. Also need a good storyline. Forze has the stupidest design in my list. Maybe they underestimated modern kids too much and think all the kids are stupid? |

I have given up on wanting Rider to back to the normal Heisei style. I would have given up watching Gaimu, but Urobuchi Gen on writing duties? If anyone can make the fruit theme works, that's him. All those Lock Seed and alternate dimension things sound really like Madoka.
And the fruit thing is so ridiculous, absurd and stupid that it is awesome beyond words lol I wonder how next rider series is going to top the fruit theme |

Infinity form only fast in speed? Well, Kabuto's Clock Up is way more cooler than this. From Flame to Flame Dragon is kinda cool but after that those Dragon upgrades were just the sake of upgrade, don't served any purpose then suddenly all dragon with that device...then now Infinity. At least Fourze storyline was getting a lot of twist towards the end - with the identity of Virgo reveal, Libra's trap etc etc...and I find that Cosmic State is way better than this Infinity. Gaimu looks cool with the suit...hopefully won't be like Wizard. |

Wiseman have a poor selection of Mages except for Mayu

I've watched Kamen Rider Wizard up to episode 48. Out of all of them, I think that girl who portrays Medusa/Mayu-chan has the best acting. I really feel sorry to her for being killed by Wiseman just like that.

I use to love come back of old riders but after so many movie they reappear.. i lost interest of it.
They are like monster's minion, turning around the 1 big boss waiting their turn to be hit by monster and end with a finishing move / combo with main hero. Just hope there is a writer / action director that give all of them their share of fighting spotlight instead of making them "kelefe" Final form form gremlin is nice, but if gremlin "henshin" into black mage or some other evil rider, i will buy it even more.. |

I read from DecaEnd of HJU. From the interview with Gaim's producer in Hyper Hobby magazine. They are going back to early heisei rider routes like Kuuga, Agito, Ryuki and Faiz. The plot will be more serious despite of the fruit motif. They also want to stop the two parter episodes of monster running away.

(Kamen Rider Ouja from the series Kamen Rider Ryuki could be described as the homicidal one of the bunch) Throughout the interview Urobuchi makes references to the older generation of Heisei Rider shows. He claims that Gaim will take Kamen Rider back to a style not seen in almost ten years. The show will break the habit of having overt two part episodes, something in place since Kamen Rider Den-O. We ended up going out for a drink and all of a sudden we started talking about job opportunities. HH: What made you accept the job then? Gen: I immediately thought, I have to accept this offer! I really wanted to take on a new challenge. I’ve been writing anime for so long, I’ve gotten so used to it. But writing a tokusatsu show is so completely different, I thought it would be a good choice. HH: Do you think this experience will be different from usual? Gen: Hmm, how should I say this? Tokusatsu definitely has its unique charm. There are certain things that you can only express through tokusatsu. We’ll see how it goes. HH: How do you feel about tokusatsu in general? Gen: I love the Space Sheriff series, especially Gavan. There’s also Kamen Rider Black that I used to watch in high school.Especially the Kamen Rider Black manga by Shotaro Ishinomori himself. It wasn’t exactly targeted towards kids and that final scene was so amazing. HH: What is your general idea on Kamen Rider? Gen: I really like the whole using evil to fight evil idea. The early Riders were remodeled by Shocker to fight for evil, but instead they used that “evil” power to fight for justice instead. The power itself might be evil, but it’s all up to how it’s being used. This is present in most of the Riders. HH: So will you be incorporating this in Kamen Rider Gaim? Gen: Well, Gaim is using fruits. It’s kinda hard with fruits. Fruits aren’t really evil, are they? HH: Does this mean that the fruits will be “evil” in some way? Gen: I can’t say anything just yet. But they are most certainly dangerous fruits. We thought of having fruits, locks and armored warriors as the themes very early on. It was hard to include all three, but we couldn’t just scrap one of them either. Some aspects have been diminished though. Gaim certainly does look like a samurai from the Sengoku era, but several aspects of that have been dropped, like the poetic literature from that era. Takebe’s image of Gaim included a lot of that, but we thought it would be too early for that kind of stuff. So we needed something to fill in. It just so happened to become fruits. Just because it’s called Sengoku Driver doesn’t mean it’s from the Sengoku era. HH: Since Takebe offered you this job, has she made any special requests? Gen: Yup. She told me she wanted to return to early Heisei series. Kuuga, Agito, Ryuki and Faiz in particular. HH: How different is to write anime and tokusatsu? Gen: It’s very different. The lines can’t be too long. In anime, it’s quite alright to give them longer lines, which I’m too used to doing. Things are expressed differently with real people. For example Yutaka Kobayashi’s character, Balon, would be completely wasted if this was an anime. He does a very good job with the facial expressions, this is nearly impossible to replicate in anime. HH: Have you taken any inspirations from types of media for Gaim? Gen: Hmm, not really. I’m writing Kamen Rider for the first time after all. While I’m creating something new, I don’t want to stray away too much. However, you might see some throwbacks to my favorite, Kamen Rider Black. The whole Rider Battle is actually because of Kamen Rider Black. I loved how Black fought Shadowmoon, his own step-brother. I want to create the same excitement I got for the newer generation. HH: Oh, so the Rider Battle is based on Black’s relationship with Shadowmoon. And here I thought it was based on Kamen Rider Ryuki. How has the reaction to you writing for Kamen Rider been so far? Gen: Kamen Rider Ryuki did however help us determine how many Riders we would have. I wasn’t in Japan when it was announced. But I remember people retweeting an old tweet I wrote years ago about how happy I’d be to write for Kamen Rider. HH: Finally, how different will Gaim be? Gen: One thing is that Takebe told me not to go with the two part episode formula. There was no point in letting a monster get away one episode only to immediately die afterwards. |

Every Rider after W has only had 2 Riders and we wanted to break away from that. I mean, you have AKB 48 with multiple members, there’s also sports teams and so many other things. Having multiple members brings excitement on different levels. We slowly ventured into the Sengoku era and planned on having that as the core theme. Every Rider would be taking inspiration from that era. But it would be boring if they all looked the same. HH: So that’s why their are based on different armors to give each and everyone their own personality. Takebe: Exactly, we wanted to give them different things that would set them all apart. Like making some of them into insects, or even birds. Although, Bandai eventually came to us and said “Fruits“, that became the center theme we worked with. You can still see some bird features if you look carefully. HH: Ah, so Bandai wanted you to incorporate the fruits into the toys that we now know as Arms Change. Takebe: They liked what we did with Kamen Rider OOO, how everything could be easily swapped around. Gaim has a similar feel to that. HH: While you wanted to do a show with multiple Riders and have the Sengoku era as the theme, Bandai wanted you to use fruits. Is that correct? Takebe: Basically. The reason why we agreed on fruits was because we wanted to use something that has never been used before as its core theme. HH: But don’t you think using fruits would be strange? Takebe: Not really. We’ve already done a train Rider, we aren’t really worried about this at all. (laughs) HH: I understand then. (laughs) Takebe: The thing is, when you see Gaim you don’t exactly think of an orange immediately. It’s right there, but still somewhat subtle. HH: Why an orange out of all fruits? Takebe: We actually researched into what fruits were popular with the kids. Orange came out on top. HH: Oranges, bananas, grapes and melons were the most popular then? Takebe: More or less. We choose fruits that everyone knew for the main Riders. Melons are high commodity fruits too. HH: Is Kamen Rider Zangetsu more important then? Takebe: He’s certainly stronger than the rest. HH: So the value makes him stronger? (laughs) Takebe: He’s kinda like Ouja from Ryuki. HH: Regarding Kamen Rider Griton. He’s more of a nut, why is that? Takebe: That’s because Gen Urobuchi said he wanted to put the locks in different ranks. He thought nuts would be a good idea. Just like in OOO, you had Cell Medals and Core Medals separating each other. In Gaim there will be fruits and nuts. HH: Why locks then? Takebe: In our early design meetings we had this sentence in mind “Opening a new world” and “Unlocking potential.” After some research we figured locks were the best choice. They’re something we’ve never used. At this point, we had no idea what the story was even going to be like. HH: The Sengoku Driver does seem like fun with the locks. Takebe: I’m happy that they are all using the same belt. It reminds me of Kamen Rider Ryuki. I also like the plate on the side that shows the Rider’s face. HH: Since there are so many Riders, will they be fighting each other? Takebe: They’ll fight on occasion. But some of them will help each other out. HH: It’s a bit like in the Sengoku era, where they’d form alliances together. Takebe: Yes, it makes things more interesting. While they were enemies yesterday, they are allies today. But the alliances aren’t always perfect. Betrayal may or may not occur. HH: How does it feel to be working with Gen Urobuchi? Takebe: It will be interesting. I liked what he did with Puella Magi Madoka Magica. You can see things resembling the Heisei Riders, how they all had different reasons to fight. HH: Had you ever met the man before? Takebe: No, but we’d tweeted each other before. We finally met through a mutual friend. He had so many ideas, so I invited him to write for Kamen Rider. At that point, Gaim’s design was nearly complete. HH: Was the dance team thing already decided at that point? Takebe: It wasn’t actually. We had already planned on having different factions, but we weren’t sure how to do it. Until Gen suggested dance teams. He’s been doing a very good job at creating a colorful, vibrant and charming world. Gaim is set in a fictional city, just like W’s Fuuto, which gives us more room with the creativity. We’ve also gotten a lot of help from Gen’s company, nitro+, with the designs. Their monster designs are very unique. HH: Regarding the cast, is it true that there were no auditions? Takebe: Not entirely. Because of Gen’s complex scripts, it was hard for us to have regular auditions. We handpicked a few people we thought were capable of expressing Gen’s scripts, and had auditions with them. HH: How many candidates did you initially have for the protagonist, Kota Kazuraba? Takebe: We didn’t have any, right from the start we knew it was Gaku Sano. HH: What do you feel about the main staff? Takebe: It’s the perfect team. Since we’re looking to go back to the early roots of Heisei, like Kuuga, Agito and Ryuki, we recruited the veteran director, Ryuta Tasaki. Tasaki has worked on some of these shows. But we still want to create something new and unique, which is why we have a new writer that’s famous in the anime world. HH: This will be a challenge for Tasaki too, won’t it? It's been a long time I didn't visiting forum Lowyat.net Kamen Rider forum here. Now Wizard is finally over and I'm gonna to review
the final episode + entire series from start to finish. First, I would like to express about the final episode. For me, the final episode is kinda meh, it was resolved quickly without even think about it. To be confess, I would like to see Wizard final battle against Gremlin as epic as Wizard vs White Wizard in the last episode, but the battle was kinda lame and as I said, the battle was too resolved quickly, the good guy fight the bad guy, the bad guy overwhelm the good guy, then the good guy get motivation from someone he loved that had been gone and use the final attack to defeat the bad guy and then solved. I wishing there will be an epic battle between those of two but such kind of battle like this, it feels kinda lack for me. There is a potential to make final battle more epic but......what else I can said? Good to see Yuzuru, Masahiro and Mayu transforming together at their own will for the good sake. The trio transforming together was the epic one. Too bad such b****d Gremlin overwhelms them and tried to take magical energy from them before Haruto arrives to stop the Gremlin's madness. Poor poor Donut Shop, getting blowed while the first customer arrived to buy some donuts. Wait a minute, so is that Gremlin's first move after obtain Philosopher's stone and evolving himself into stronger one by blowing the donut shop? About the Evolved Gremlin, it was such petty to see Sora upgraded himself as Gremlin into Evolved one was lasted just in this finale. Kinda reminds me of how Enter obtained data from Red Buster in the 2 final episodes to upgrade himself into Dark Red Buster before the Go-Busters overwhelm them in the end. Poor poor Sora but serves you right, you lost your soul and you kill everyone just for your own self to become human once again. To be confess, I wishing that b****d Sora to be dead, and I'm so glad it was resolved in the end. Shunpei got a lot of guts this time. So does Rinko. Instead of trying to save everyone from devoured by Ghuls, he uses any strength he had to overcome the Ghuls. Throwing a rubber cone, then a rope, and other things at the critical moment, how many characters can do this at the critical moment? Nitou's fighting over the rest of Ghuls despite he lost his Beast powers was the exciting one, showing us that you don't need to transform yourself into a hero, only with your own strength and your own will, you could save everyone's lives from being devoured by enemy. Episode 2 recalls me about this situation. Glad that Haruto accepted Koyomi's death as usual, it was the best for her. I mean, I'm so bored with kinda of stereotypes that used in W and Fourze before. Important characters died first at the climax of the episode, then revived back in the finale. It's kinda stereotype for me, so I'm glad that they didn't bring back Koyomi, for at least it was the best solution as she deserves the rest in peace from being revived back in the wrong ways. Man Kizaki gets his coffee sprayed away when the Chief wants to join National Security Bureau that was a hilarious one. And Shunpei decided to become ring maker apprentice? For the entire series run, I didn't know that he was interest to collaborate with Wajima as the ring maker to make a rings? Damn, you should tell to them earlier during your first debut about a year ago.So Nitou co-team with Yuzuru to find Khimaira so he can study a lot about it. Good luck in retrieving back your Beast powers, mayo-kun. So Haruto still stick on Plain Sugar as his own favorite donuts till the end. For God's sake, please don't just relying on Plain Sugar as your favorite, you should stick on other donuts beside Plain Sugar, would you Haruto? That's the final episode review for me. Now for the entire series reviews. Pros and Cons + unquestionable ethics in Kamen Rider Wizard. Pros > Cool suit design and forms. The Infinity one was a shiny and exciting. > Awesome choreographic fighting scenes. The most prominent one was the Christmas episode when Haruto battled Phoenix. Leaping while henshin was the quite FTW one. > Nitou/Beast was a true comedic relief one. Perfect to cover up Shunpei's comedic relief failure. Credits also to Donuts Shop Owner and 'her' own assistant, although their contribution to the series was not so big after all. > Sora/Gremlin is the final villain that you love to hate. Fueki/White Wizard one applies to this. His selfishness only to revive his daughter without thinking everyone's suffer. Cons > Shunpei's comedic relief, as I told before -FAIL-. For me he just an annoying character who can't make fun and make laughter to everyone. > Phoenix's foil over Haruto/Wizard lasted for 23 episodes only. To be honest I would like to see Phoenix foiling Wizard even more till the end, since Phoenix is the most badass Phantom chief ever. > Too much filler episode that disturbing the entire Wizard's plot. The most worst one was after the Infinity Styles form debut. > I wishing that the Wizard's traveling into Underworld as same as Den-O that travels to the past with the trains, but...............it was too few. > Stupid-stupid 2-parter arcs. Letting Phantoms get away at the time Wizard nearly defeat the Phantom at the end of the episode. That was not cool, kinda it ruins my mood. I know they want to add suspense for the entire episode but seriously, letting Phantoms go while at the midst of the battle was not cool. I heard Gaim is going to break 2-parter arcs so I'm very warm welcome to this when the series premiered in October. > There a lot of potential in the entire series, like Haruto's background as well as Koyomi, how does Fueki survived the first Sabbath and his plans for the second Sabbath, Phoenix's arc, Nitou's background and Gate's background as well but sadly it was wasted just like that. > Mayu didn't avenge to the White Wizard/Fueki for his responsibility for causing her twin sister becoming Medusa and killed her entire family. I know she avenging her own sister for causing her parent's death, but she should know that her true target is the person who responsible for triggering the first Sabbath. Some of the unquestionable ethics here in Kamen Rider Wizard > So most of the minor Phantoms are dominated by males, with Archane Phantom as the only female Phantom besides Medusa. What is this, a sausage fest for the minor Phantoms? > I kinda hoping that the National Security Bureau Section Zero will act just like Metropolitan Police Department in Kuuga and Agito but for no several reasons, they just only sit down watching Wizard in action throughout lenses and cameras and doing research on individuals who involved in Sabbath, but never do anything to apprehend the Phantom's/Ghul's rampage during the series run. Seriously get your ass moving, you security bureau morons. > Haruto's background was never foretold in clearer definition. About his past. What's he doing after parent's death. How he became a soccer player. How he discovered his potential to become Kamen Rider Wizard in his early debut. Mayu's background also applies to this. About her relationship and sweet memories with her twin sister before the Sabbath happens. That's all my reviews for now. This is just my thoughts on the entire final episode and the entire series itself, so if there is anything you need to add, feel free to do so. I don't like much what they doing to the riders in episode 52, it so mess up. But it still fun with AU Rinko and Shunpei, they so funny this time. Gaim introduction is cool, I like those sengoku jidai style music.

Apparently hiring random voice actor to voice the riders is cheaper than paying the original actor who left the rider business less than 2 years to voice the character for less than 2 minutes.

Aikawa (the writer) did says in his twitter, he and producer doing what budget can do. They only have 1 option to bring back 1 past rider actor, which is Masahiro they prefer. They actually consider Odagiri, but unlikely.

OK, that was a very impressive debut episode. Compare to more action packed and throw every thing together first episodes of past series, a slower approach is very much welcomed. I really enjoy the fact that this episode actually felt mature. The characters all have unique voices and act reasonably. So far we don't have those ridiculous loud or forced-funny character yet (well, except the DJ). I really like Kota's character, a plain good guy who quit his hobby because he "has grown up". It is a very interesting angle and I hope Urobuchi will expand on it.
Now for more plot point, I think we can safely assume that: Eating the Lock Seed before it is 'made into toy' will turn human into human sized Invase. Gaim's first kill is most likely the Gaim Team leader. The mysterious golden hair girl who looks like the female MC (Mai). She is the key figure of this show and most likely the mac guffin. Most likely Mai and this girl are one and the same. In the pre credit scene, we see the gold hair girl covered in those plants so I think she is the 'mother' of the lock seeds and maybe like Yui from Ryuki, killing her will end the Lock Seed incident. Since Kota actually promised that he will keep on fighting if it is to protect Mai and that Gaim wages war against Baron in pre credit scene, I think this will spark conflict between the riders in future episodes. Overall, a great start. I pray that things will not go downhill |
