the grongi uses their own fictional language in the whole series except for those higher rankings that can actually speaks human.

There is japanese sub below when they were talking in their language.
And some episode they did sub it but a lot non..
Checked online but don't really have a detail story..

Gurongi tribes is merely having a hunting game on human, more alike like what predator in predator series.
As you can see from their naming, they have ranks, playing the game is more likely that if they have achieve certain level in a game, they could join higher rank group.
Of course, in the series, none of the gurongi have ever get into higher rank, defeated by Kuuga before they could do so.
As for daguva, he certainly have other objectives since the revival, from what i know, it's more likely he know that kuuga could evolve into something like gurongi, therefore, he wanted Kuuga to get stronger and achieve that state, and when that happnened, gurongi game could be even more interesting to them.
