sifu2 sekelian. i got this problem. my 4670k stable at 4.4ghz with asrock z87pro3.

Vcore at 1.17v.
Vcache 1.2v.

then i want to change mode to adaptive to get that power saving feature. however everytime i set up adaptive vcore at 1.17v, the voltage always increasing more up to 1.3v while aida64 stress test, IBT, etc.

anyone can show me the right way to do adaptive mode in asrock mobos?

There is no such stock voltage but every chip has its own VID. They are unique.
Looks nice for 24/7!  rclxms.gif

Quick question. Using asrock z87pro3. I set my ratio at 42. But cache ratio at 38. Vcore at 1.10v override. Is there any significant speed improve by setting the cache ratio to the same as core ratio?

Putting cache ratio/ uncore equal to core multi will give you a slight improvement of performance but will give impact on stability.
ASUS recommended uncore to stay at x1 to x3 lower than core multi. I myself usually will leave it auto. smile.gif

thanks owi. currently trying 44 on both ratio at 1.2v. hopefully it pass some stressing.

EDITED: yeah, not stable. crashes my system. forced to restart by turning off power. trying cache at 41 now.

Thanks. Btw trying 44x. Stilll stable. Which is the best pprime95 to use with adaptive volt? Im skeptical about the stability.

hi guys. im trying to find the lowest voltage for idle for my 4670k. im pretty sure the default (standard) value is 0.8v at 800mhz.

i set the adaptive vcore at 1.1v with offset -0.125v. multiplier is at x38. during idle, my vcore is 0.703v at 800mhz. offsetting to -0.15v causing system hang when launching programs (skyrim tested).

so i need to gather a bit data from you guys, what is your lowest volt for your chip?
