QUOTE(azuradaniel @ Jun 21 2013, 03:46 PM) I'm not really concern about LTE-Advance but if Samsung really put new snapdragon CPU & GPU in S4 it really big different & improvement. If u r going for it just Bcoz of faster snapdragon, then it's fine. Bcoz lte advance really need to slowly wait. U r paying a premium for a technology we cannot use here yet. But if Sammy throw in 64gb,that is where it gets worrying. 32gb already selling at 2.5k.64gb how? Set urself a budget. Let's say rm2.5k,dont go beyond that. It's not worth paying more for a phone as it refreshes every year. For this case, every month for Samsung. I'm not shock in case they put it with 64GB memory & 3GB RAM coz Samsung share value now in major lost. Samsung also Memory & RAM manufacturer & supplier. They just want to save cost(maximise profit), just imagine if phone RAM upgradeable like PC/Laptop. This post has been edited by 666devil: Jun 21 2013, 06:05 PM |

QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Jun 22 2013, 02:50 PM) That's because as a SME dealer , only he can register it for u via SMS . Are u a SME dealer ? Even if he teaches you how to do it , can you do it ? And do u know why he offered his service ? . He did it cuz it's a free service , just a simple sms and details but there was a forumer asking for "donation" for helping them register their phones . And that was how he started offering free service to forumers here . +1Let me share my painful experience with u. Bought my set from Maxis dealer. Ask them to register for me as the box in the sticker said so, they ask me go Samsung store. I went samsung store, they ask me go online. I went online, are photo and attach my receipt, that's it, but there is no confirmation sms as I still keep my s3 sms confirmation. 1 week later, I key in the code and sms out to verify eregistration, sms reply it's not registered. I can't register myself as there is no dealership #. I was stuck and dunno where to go. Then members here share helpful info that someone can help for free. I PM him and it was done in 20 mns I get the authentic sms to confirm my e-warranty is successful. So u see the hassle? Bottomline lone is, dealers and samsung warranty method sucks. Luckily there are ppl out here who is willing to help. |

QUOTE(noookiller @ Jun 22 2013, 11:02 PM) 62003This is how to check ur e-warranty status PC<SPACE>IMEI NUMBER to 33802 <celcom line> PC<SPACE>IMEI NUMBER to 62002 <digi/maxis line> That was how I know even I registered warranty online with receipt scans and all, I am still not registered with e-warranty as they are totally different systems. Lousy samsung warranty systems. This post has been edited by 666devil: Jun 22 2013, 11:29 PM |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jun 23 2013, 06:58 PM) I travel frequently ( 2-3 times a month) to KL n Spore n every 4-5 months to Europe. So a LTE enabled phone is better given a choice. LTE in my place probably another 2-3 years loh !! why need to wait long? JB already start to have LTE:http://new.maxis.com.my/content/maxis/en/p...d-coverage.html |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jun 23 2013, 07:14 PM) It took nearly 3 + years just for 3G at my town when it first was available in JB. Only last year on Maxis I get decent 3g speeds above 2000kbps to 8000kbps. Before that 600-800 kbps only wah like that you will have better chance to get 4G soon by switching to Celcom.I heard maxis and digi always concentrate at city areas first... |

If in US they Kena sued left and right already.Have given up Digi after nearly 10 years they still have no H+ n terrible poorer 3g download speeds. QUOTE(MsiaqweR @ Jun 24 2013, 11:31 AM) LoL Ridiculous, Samsung really din learn their lesson. My reason for leaving iphone Bcoz they screw up with new new ipad. Seems like now samsung even worse. Next phone can jump back to ip6Producing so many flagships in just 2 months. 1) S4 Active 2) S4 Camera Zoom 3) S4 Snapdragon 800 4) S4 Lte or S4 Octa Why couldn't they just stick with 1 flagship in 1 year? I wouldn't be surprise if another variant called "S4 Skyrocket" released next week. That will be the biggest joke of the year. |

QUOTE(luvdog @ Jun 24 2013, 01:12 PM) Earlier i was having problem with my camera. The phone always auto restart when i try to open the camera app. So, one of the forumer suggested that i should change the background processes to 4 instead of standard under Developers options in setting. I stop having this problem after i do it. Huh i thought camera restart issue already resolved in the latest ofdicial firmware update? |

QUOTE(luvdog @ Jun 24 2013, 01:50 PM) i had that problem even before the latest update and at that time this is the way for me to resolve it. Anyway, i don seem to see that it has been resolved with the update. At least not for me. still hving the issue (perhaps not so often). U must be using the non lte version right? Coz I never experienced that issue b4. |

QUOTE(HeartRoxas @ Jun 24 2013, 08:35 PM) Maxis or Celcom? There's a chance they didn't provide you with a 4G card. Like what happen to by friend. He called 123, walk in with IC and changed another sim. Voila. 4G. There is no such thing as a 4g sim card. As long as ur sim can get H, H+ signal it can then get 4g. I am still using the sim transferred from my s3 and browsing with 4g now. The only explanation is it was not set to auto lte mode, or the 4g signal too weak. Either go to stronger 4g signal locations like klcc jogging park, OR turn on and off plane mode, Or set connection type to manual, select maxis to reregister to network This post has been edited by 666devil: Jun 24 2013, 08:47 PM |
