A blanket statement but custom roms (AOPK/AOSP) generally are more battery thirsty than the stock rom.
Another thing to consider is that since Samsung is being tight-arse with the Exynos source code, I dont see custom rom beating the stock rom in functionality/stability unfortunately. So it looks like touchwiz rom is here to stay on my phone  On the other hand, Andreilux is continue bringing his awesome kernel to S4. Perseus kernel now has UV support, colour calibration, hardware audio amplifier tweaking. Without doubt the best kernel  |
