QUOTE(soul_fly9900 @ Jun 19 2013, 01:48 PM) Guys, is there any big problem with S4 that cause the sudden price drop? Was looking to buy Note 2 for my wife and noticed that can already get S4 if add another RM150 or so. There is nothing strange about the price drop. It is expected and also happened with the S3. The list price is a recommended price and there are usually discounts once the launch buying frenzy dies down and supply stabilize. The only exception is iphone where there selling price never budge from the list price.

If she is using it as a phone also ask her if she has big hands. (Be prepared to duck!) This post has been edited by KennyKB: Jun 19 2013, 02:50 PM

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jun 22 2013, 09:16 AM) I use faster way Just PM fellow lowyat member Fallenout n provide him your name, mobile phone no n phone imei . He will register ewarranty for you Free of charge. He has helped many members here n did it 3 times for me. Great helpful chap. You realize it is UNSAFE to give out those details to an unknown third party don't you? Kind of like giving out your credit card details and hope nothing happens. Perhaps this will enlighten you. I don't know why the fellow is so helpful but he could be collecting IMEI nos. Stop being lazy and register for warranty yourself. All it takes is an email to "ewarranty.sme@samsung.com" with some details. This post has been edited by KennyKB: Jun 22 2013, 01:16 PM

QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Jun 22 2013, 01:22 PM) When a person is helpful , the society doubts him . When he is not helpful , he's called " arrogant , uncooperative , etc . . . . Sometimes , I don't blame society for being selfish since our kind gestures will be misunderstood as a hidden agendas by others . If he really wants to be helpful he will teach others how to register by e-warranty instead of asking them for their IMEI. His intentions may be good but others with bad intention may copy his modus operandi. These IMEI nos can be collected and SOLD.

QUOTE(steventan85 @ Jun 22 2013, 09:41 PM) If u r so paranoid and think that ur so VIP, u can choose not to give ur IMEI..THATS ALL.. You are right. I registered 2 Samsung smartphones myself by emailing the same details to ewarranty.sme@samsung.com instead of a 3rd party. Then I got back the confirmation sms from Samsung. How difficult is that? You don't need to be a Samsung dealer or agent to e-register your warranty. If you think it is better to give your imei to a stranger for something which takes no extra effort to do yourself then go ahead. It is nothing with being paranoid or VIP. The fellow may be sincere or not, you don't really know for sure but if you have given him your imei and phone no., sleep well. Just hope that in future nobody clone your phone and sock you with a big bill. This post has been edited by KennyKB: Jun 22 2013, 11:40 PM
